I would suggest using Cd and extrusion separately, it's just a better practice.

thank you for this! I'm such a noob and when I would add the attribute delete node I thought that would get rid of all the attributes in the node chain up until that point, boy was I wrong!

I mean it can you just have to specify it to do so and then verify the attributes afterwards to see if you deleted the correct ones, anyway thanks I now know more than I did yesterday!

How would you go about coloring this? I can't seem to get the colors from the noise to show up in Redshift.

ty Redshift does not work on apprentice, and you need to pay to use it. Karma is free and is H-native. For someone who just wants to try out Houdini and learn stuff it will do just fine, let alone being confronted with paying for things before you know anything.
