btw guys when you link the null of the animated character into the 'volumesource' make sure that in the 'volumesource' that the 'source particles' that the group is specified if you created a group but if you have no group then delete the path for group under source particles :)

In the attribute wrangle would it not be easier visually to do @v = @v/2 ; rather than @v = @v*.5 : I know it does the same thing really but does it cause issue dividing rather than multiplying?

@@Hoodini_GB yes it's exactly the same thing, it's just I love multiply symbol more than division haha 😂

When transfering the v. I first used source group type as points and destination as points, too. Would that be okay? since I was gathering points from the previous node. it worked, at least the yellow vectors were transfered.

Did you made the camera animation ? Coz on importing mixamo fbx files i dont see any camera ?

Awesome tutorials very easy to follow and great info! Thanks so much! One question for you. In this tutorial you mentioned that you should always have the pointvelocity before the pointsfromvolume. But in the Velocity tutorial ( #2 ) you had it after the pointsfromvolume? Is that because there was no animation involved? Thanks!

Thanks alot. Yes there we just instanced velocities, and we could have even put the velocity node above the position from volume node and used attribute transfer to transfer it, but because there's no animation involved we didn't do that. However, in this scene because we have animation we need to calculate velocities right below the animated geometry because once it's converted to points they're re seeded every frame and it messes up the velocities. That's why we calculate above the points from volume and we transfer it back to it.

When I import null in the volume source , character is not visible and no simulation is going on, can u help me with that?
