Superb! Is there a way to animate the turbulence? To get this setup sort of dynamic, is to animate the trail lenght, or have some geo on the splines, but the the trail itself is static.

Hey, thanks so much for the tutorial! it is super useful, is there any way that you are able to change the location of the spirals? Im trying to recreate patterns that need the center of the spirals in certain locations.

thanks! it solves alot of issues i had with curl noise. there is another node called "volume velocity from curve", is it using the curve to drive the curl force?

No, I haven't used that, I used the volume velocity from surface node and inside that node gas turbulence is making the curls.

Thanks for the appreciation. You can use the Polywire node to get this kind of effect in Houdini. I used Arnold curve collecter option to render this. Hope this helps.

When I export as alembic its coming like curves how to render in maya

You need to use curve collector node in Maya it has properties for rendering.
