Being 50 this powder gives a ‘gentle’ highlight and smooths everything out. I like that I can have a glow without looking like a glitter bomb landed on my cheeks or forehead.

Same - I can’t live without Ethereal Glow blush - it looks like nothing in the pan (same with Mood Exposure, but that one is warmer) and I buff it over ANY blush and it wakes up my face - I can’t explain how much I love and can’t live without it. I’ve been using Ethereal Light as a highlighter and to buff out the edges of my eyeshadow. I love Luminous Light to buff everything on my face and I have Dim and Diffused but don’t use them as much. I probably will now. It’s hard to justify buying another one when I have 4 of them that barely have signs of use, but this looks amazing on Wayne.

I've used these Hourglass products for years to blend the contouring powders I use. There's really nothing else like them on the market--I`ve looked! The shine is so subtle that it does nothing but enhance your foundation, blush, and bronzer. I LOVE this product.

Thanks for reviewing this powder! I was on the fence because a lot of the reviewers said it was disco ball shiny. Although my gut told me that couldn't be right because it's uncharacteristic of Hourglass (their products are the epitome of beautiful subtlety) I was still skeptical. I love the idea of this product. I understood it to be basically what you get when you run your brush over all 3 shades of the ambient lighting palette (lighting palette not the strobe palette) which a lot of people do for a natural glow to the skin. I am too old to be wearing highlight that you can see from Mars but the subtle glow the ambient lighting powders give is perfect. I also use them to blend the edge of my upper crease to my brow bone instead of highlighter. Hourglass just premixed the pans for you when they released this. The do need to release a couple of slightly darker shades though I've seen it look a little grey on olive and dark skin tones.

Hourglass is for the most part a classy curated brand...which i prefer. I love their bronzers, the mascara, hyaluronic skin tint and their Ambient powder trio palette(on my 3rd one bc of Incandescent Light...its the best natural highlight).

I love Hourglass, it's so gorgeous on the skin. I keep meaning to get that bronzer and forgetting, probably to save myself the money. lol Anyway, have I mentioned how beautiful and creamy and gorgeous your eyeshadow is, Wayne? No? I use my ambient heat blush every day... its gives the most amazing flush to the skin. It's perfectly diffused and I love it. I use the Becca soft light blurring powders in golden hour and pink haze.. depending on what look I'm going for. I WILL be buying this, but I cant justify buying anything else at the moment. But its gorgeous. I'm sure its 10x better than the Becca but I'll grab it once I'm out of those. Thank you Wayne. I always trust your reviews.

Well I found a less expensive dupe in zoeva glow light powders. Cost me £4.50 each. I have the pink and barely bronze called cinnamon. I totally agree that they make the skin look amazing
