That is nonsense. The Attorney general is supposed to work for the Justice department not for the president or the white house. The white house has lawyers and the president also has personal lawyers. The AG is the lawyer for the people and every document under him belongs to the people and Congress is a representative of the people and has the oversight over the people's attorney (AG) and the Justice department. If the AG fails to produce whatever document he's required to, then he's either working for JB or himself and not the people. He's protecting the president for political purposes.
