I’m watching King Robert talk about House Baratheon. It’s not live and I’m just starting it but I hope we speculate about what Baratheon means, is it a Valyrian bastard name? Was it another Valyrian or Essosi house? The irony of Cersei’s children having a bastard name or being called bastard in a dead language is something ironic GRRM would write

Always fall asleep to Roberts videos. In depth enough to take my mind off of whatever. Might be keeping me awake, but not so in depth and complicated that it stops me falling asleep (like an Andree hubermann episode for example). Also a very relaxing cadence

Robert having 16 bastards is something we hear from Maggie the Frog's prophecy. I don't know if there's an additional source for that number, but I've never heard of one, and it seems weird to me for the prophecy to only count recognised bastards. Anyway there's a great video by Interesting Nerd Club going through every possible candidate, on the premise that George wouldn't have given us a concrete number if we weren't going to see all of them

10:32 yes, exactly! In the live campaign they made armor (I think for Vex) from the dragon scales but she didn't wear it. It was disappointing to say the least.
