You guys are such a great of inspiration. I am relieved that the boiler install happened incident free and fairly smooth, I will be looking into that brand and model due to its efficiency. Thanks for the vid!

I would do a vented hood, they just work better. Some pipe(what ever is required), paint and a few pipe clamps would look good. Think big old steam pipe with compression fittings, paint it to suit your style and wala, hood and oven vent that doesn't need to be hidden, would add some industrial look/character.

Looking better and better. Lots of small bites taken already, once the windows are in you'll probably be so acclimated to working in coats and gloves you're going be focusing on a place to hang the coats :)

people think building a house is a piece of cake but, they are wrong it takes alot of different pieces to make a whole. you are doing a good job on the build so far keep up the good work. stay safe. p.s. always nice to have heat even if there is more work to do before it is closed in.

Congratulations on the progress. that water system seems a whole lot more complicated than my old house has. Of course we don't have sub-floor heating. For the gas line to the stove and the vent if you go that way, you could also do a small bulkhead above the cabinets on that wall to run the vent out, and the gas line over to the wall cavity you drop the gas down to the stove.

Thanks for sharing your build with us, I like the job your doing! We built an ICF home in north central Minnesota and have never regretted the choice. Are or have you considered an air exchanger, we found during cold weather it helps greatly with condensation on the windows. The air exchanger also clears out cooking smells which tend to linger in such an air tight home.

Nice video. Hate to complicate things but something to think about. Code calls for an external vent over a propane cook stove. The vent over the stove has to vent outside.Hang in there.

I have been following you on the build. On the boiler venting, the exhaust pipe if you keep it out under the porch area must be insulated or will freeze fast in the climate you are in. Please check the lenght of pipe for your alt looks long for two inch pipe? This is my first comment on you tube
