You are really blessed with some great people in your life. Cooper is awesome and pretty talented. Very nice to see the window show up, you wasted no time getting that in place. I am very happy for you guys even if I missed out on the fish fry.

Hi Jennifer and co. This is John here, Just got back to Canada after a 6 month stay in Costa Rica, (major rebuild on my house there) and trying to miss the winter blasts here. Glad to see all the progress you guys have made while away as I have had absolutely no contact with the "outside world" and what has been happening during that time therein. Have lost your e-mail, it got delated by my internet provider while I was away, anyway will get back to follow your progress now, Busy reviewing past videos, should be caught up soon. Stay safe, Regards John.

Wow! We were wondering if you were okay! Obviously, better than okay if you spent the winter in the southern hemisphere! Our email is kendrickhomestead@gmail.com.

Yet another reason for teachers to make friends with the custodial staff. That deck looks great.

I am always in my classroom grading papers late after school is out, so when Cooper is there cleaning the place, we chat it up! He's a blast to work with!

Thanks! Trying to stay safe, but sometimes the deck building scared me (Jen)!

Im surprised you did not install the rubber seal on the stair treads. That edge is chopped open with the saw so if water gets on there it will swell and cause problems. You should seal the board ends as you go. I use an eye dropped filled with wood sealant on the screws as they go in. That is part of the joys of new house build. It is never a smooth process especially with rough raw land.

Just found your channel . Gonna have to go back and watch from the beginning . I like the way you explain things with what's going on . I like those metal brackets that you used for the deck posts . Can you please tell me where you got them from . Thanks

Would like to have seen a lot more visuals of the deck. Not the people.
