Another day, another round of House Flipper! I have a towel radiator in our bathroom rather than a normal one - it saves on space but I don't tend to use it as much as I probably should, took me weeks to work out what it actually was!

Lots of older or more urban apartments still use radiators and individual AC units, I think. Places where it's hard to shoehorn in a central HVAC system. I grew up in a big ol' drafty farmhouse and every room had like 2-3 doors, since it was expected to just kinda close it off and heat the room where everyone currently was, way back when. Maybe the glass interior doors are for light, like for northern climate cultures where it helps with mental health. Not sure where the devs are from. :)

I live in a condo built 2018 (southern Sweden), we have both radiators (in every room) and a towel warmer... it is very common with radiators in our country, probably because of the climate that can be very cold during winter (I guess?).

I saw someone else mention it may not be cost effective to essentially upgrade a house/apartment to an HVAC system? I’m still not sure either lol

Being in the UK we are used to having radiators in most rooms, I've been playing house flipper on the Xbox one but have found the decorating and gardening inspiration to be lacking...needing motivation or ideas to use for the exterior

I’ve done a few flips where I do more than just mow the lawn if you’re interested in checking those out.

@@Toogii Absolutely! The whole moving walls and creating a more useful space or extra rooms is fine as I've learned from yourself how to do that, but dividing and creating outdoor space from a grass surface just makes me bored
