With the house help issue i think it goes both way i am a house help and a nanny myself i have been working for my boss for the past 7 years responsible for 4 kids and responsible for some house chores . I never knew how to do certain things but my boss taught me everything i know now . In that house thats when i learned that i love kids like really love them i can connect with any child nomatter what that child is going through or the kind of character they have . I love my job and i started doing different courses that has to do with children and now im studying towards getting a degree in psychology so i can be able to help many children , i have a business on the side and when im off i work with more children . Please for us to do our job with all our hearts treat us like human beings and just learn to appreciate for me its not only about money its just thank you for everything we do thats all it really means a lot . Many people though don't believe them when i tell them the kind of job i do coz they believe being a nanny or a househelp you have to look old and dont know how to dress as for me i dont believe in that when you see me you think im working in some office

How you treat your househelp matters a lot what you give is what you receive,you do them good they do you good Am actually blessed with a good one and am at peace knowing my kids are in safe hands so yes I recommend a house help cause we actually need them

I get house helps from agents here in Lagos but it doesn't make the case difference. My little advice is make sure you take them straight to hospital to run test on them before bringing them home. I got one that has tb and I discharged her from the hospital immediately. Imagine taking her home first to stay with my kids before the test. We need to be extremely careful when it comes to house helps o, don't just bring in anybody.

House helps shouldn’t even be working for 24 hours. If not for 7am school drop off and after work stress ..also the risk of going to work at 5am in an unsafe environment and then traffic wouldn’t even let you get to the house at 5am from you individual home if it’s more than 1 child the mum can start the wake up and shower time while you get there at 5am to start the other shower or start breakfast if the mum decides to say don’t worry let’s save time by the time shower is done breakfast is ready then after school drop off they come bk home to do house work 5am -7:30pm ( bed time).. but then another traffic going bk and some parents don’t keep to bed time ..tbh it’s a lots of factors in Nigeria that isn’t helping .cause if they get home 7:30 pm they can go get there knacks na 😅.
