House MD || Saying Goodbye To An Excellent Series

I started watching House back in 2008. The show is so beautifully written and expertly shot. The main character - Dr. Gregory House - often clashes with his patients and co-workers due to his cranky and sarcastic attitude. This often leads to the alienation of himself - but adds colourful humour as the complicated medical mysteries unwind. When I found out that the series was coming to an end in May of this year - I felt that it was in fact good news. The series should go out with its dignity intact while it is still at the top of its game. Although it will be quite sad accepting the fact that there will be no [H]ouse anymore...
Anyway - I decided to make this little tribute to Hugh Laurie as Gregory House. I plan on making a massive one after the series concludes. I could not get Season 8 to work with the video editor I was using.

I think you're right! I wrote this comment right after I finished the 8th season, so I was pretty sad that it is all over now. But in the last few months I realised that I should be thankful for this great series instead of being sad. Dr. House is the best series ever!

Paul D We all loved this medical version of Sherlock Holmes. We enjoyed watching him run in circles in his wheel, act like a child, and crack whatever puzzle that was tossed in his direction in the ingenious ways he does. We kept of of his ideology with us (which ones vary person to person.) We are a little more like House. Hughe Laurie did a great job with this character and as did the writers. We got a good ending to a great show, but nothing lasts forever. The story can't go forever, and Hughe Laurie doesn't even think he would be up to the task anymore. He's is getting to the point where it's roles that don't require every fiber of your being so that he can work on his music, and be with his family. Sadly I don't think we will see a return of House, but I like to pretend after Wilson's final months House wen't on to research Dark Matter. Something he had profound interest in throughout the show.

I like the scene in the beginning, about House feeling nothing, because I watched this video right after I finished the series and that was exactly how I felt at the moment, haha! I didn't feel good or bad; I felt nothing. And I felt like I needed something like House loves his Vicodin because I was so emotional, lol. Great video!

This is beautifully made. House has been one of my favorite shows for a few years and to know that's it's ending is a depressing thought. It's such an intelligent show, but it also shows that even the smartest and confident of people have problems they must deal with. The moment I started watching this movie my entire perspective on life has changed. It is the best and most complex of all the series I've seen and I'll ever see.
