House Number Sign. Awesome Scrap Wood Project! How to make a Wooden House Number Sign. G’day Folks and Welcome to another DIY For Knuckleheads 30 Minute Challenge. In this video l wanted to get a house number and incorporate that into a sign to make a Houser Number Plaque. Our house didn’t have a house number so it was the perfect choice for a pallet wood / reclaimed wood, 30 Minute Challenge. I used hardwood fence palings for this recycled wood project but pallet wood would also be great. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Great vid Shane. I love watching your projects, really nicely done. I think I'll do one of these myself, but think I will put it the other way round, i.e., number at bottom left and box top right, the reasoning for it is to stop plant growth obscuring the numbers. Thank for the inspiration mate! 🤗

Just a VERY helpful hint on hanging this house number. As a delivery person of many many years, most people had a house number under a light, and many times, it would be in the shadow of the light, and NOT visible, so just so that you get your pizza in a hurry, or your cab, or god forbid an AMBULANCE OR POLICE OR FIRE VEHICLE, hang it up at night, under a light, mark where it is SEEN by the light, if you want to hang it right away go ahead, otherwise wait till daylight, and this way you will ENSURE, that your house # will be seen. Many a times, I delivered pizza, and could not see the house # because it was in the dark, thanks for listening.
