She's not evil, she was sad about what happened to Jaehaerys. She would not do that to her half-sister Helena, even though they killed her son Lucerys. She tried to talk to the Green Queen, Elicent, to stop the war and the shedding of more blood. Rhaenyra is a good mother and would have been a good queen.
