I went into this abandoned house in my town during a lunch break at school once. It was built in the 1800s by the Cross family. No vandalism whatsoever. It’s very nice. I ended up sick with pneumonia the week after though but it could’ve been a coincidence. I now crave to go back in it but I settle for these videos to get my fill.

Yeah the shorter ceilings is the original plan, the other stuff had to of been a addition. Sad it's falling apart like that, but all the wood work in there is just beautiful. Not a lot of people get any wood work like that done anymore

usually politics ... people leave for whatever reason then the taxes dont get paid so when the remaining family finally gets a chance to get the house the tax bill outweighs what the house would be worth or they simply cant afford it so its easier to just walk away...

The craftsmanship of that house is incredible. The furniture in that house is also worth tens of thousands of dollars. Makes me sick seeing the condition of it all and knowing each day it will continue to rot. A lot of that furniture is still salvageable and in very good condition. So sad.
