Josh and friends please be careful when you are going through old tunnels like these. A lot of the piping will be covered in asbestos, I know respirators suck to wear and can make narrating an issue. But your health is the most important thing. Right, I’ll quit acting like your mum now. 😂

@@LiLgPnoy15 clearly not, just someone who’s concerned he may end up with mesothelioma. It was common practice to wrap piping like that in asbestos. This covering breaks down over time and it becomes even more dangerous. Once the fibres (which have a fluffy appearance) are exposed it’s very easy to accidentally inhale them. Potentially resulting in mesothelioma at a later date. I posted my original comment as I wasn’t sure if Josh and his mates were aware of this information. Those rooms could have been used for multiple reasons, most old method could be for ECT (electro convulsive therapy),others -sleep study,eeg (electro encephalograms), minor procedures, therapy sessions etc. Cannot imagine what the patients might have gone through. Thank you for taking us along. . Also,heard some medical facilities used to use these secret tunnels to dispose bodies. I'm not sure though. What exactly is the purpose I wonder.
@SuperMissblueeyes4 жыл бұрын
One of the really sad things is that the patients wouldn't have had their own clothes. The clothes would have been "shared". One person would wear them one day, they'd be washed overnight & someone else would be wearing them the next day. They had nothing to call their own, not even clothes.

All those polygraph devices that were stacked on each other would constitute all the test electrodes for an ekg. The e.k.g. measures all the different waves involved in the function of the brain. Mad scientist kinda stuff. They don't need all those to perform a lie detector test. Brain waves just disturbed by a tiny bit can indicate some mental disorders. All I know. I will leave the mad scientist to tell the rest of the story. Most mad doctors have thick glasses, and serious meth issues. Lol. Some psychiatric doctors were very brutal, but watching seizures and episodes for so long can drive you mad , yourself. Just the violence and anger that is omnipresent because so many types of disorders involved confusion, delusions, and when the visitors come, they have to be restrained, but only when their involuntary outbursts are of course, a real risk for the public. Some patients have absolutely no idea when it will happen, either. Welcome to the asylum!
