Showrunners are openly anti team Green so I am likely wrong. But I wish to say Alicent and Cole relationship is genuine and due to them knowing each other for so long and him being her children's father figure (and not revolving around Rhaenyra).

Your thoughts at 13:00 are exactly what I think. He named Rhaenyra his heir but didn't prepare her, didn't give her the chance to learn the politics or anything else. He just made an important decision and ignored all the consequences of it. It's like "I'm gonna be dead when she's queen so... not my problem anymore"

So remember how laryn strong the clubbfoot had did a purge of the entire castles staff eailer and said he replace all of the castle staff, well basically at this point their were understaffed, also because of cole and the queen saking up they would have orchestrated one way another for their too not be alot of servants and guards around at the time to keep people from seeing. Thoes are the official reasons I could take from the show, below is a random theory cause in my mind even that doesnt add up. So there are a bunch of Conspiricy thories as to how this happened, one being that larys strong knew it was going to happen and let it happen, I wont go into his motivations as to why he would do such a thing cause thats never confirmed in the books. However he makes several 'mistakes' which dont make sense, e.g. clearing cheese the ratcatcher who was a member of the house hold staff he said he personally cleared to alicent as i stated eailer, not bringing forward the women who saw blood and cheese commit the murder as a witness, letting agon kill blood before confirming the identify of cheese which is something they could do by just lining up all the rat catches and having him pick on. Considering how smart he is he should have known this and Iv seen enough from this show thus far to know the writers are competent to a sufficent degree that i dont think its an oversight. Thus considering how larys is showen to be capabile of manipulating agon to do what he wants as shown in episode 3 especially he should have more than cabaple of reasoning to stay the kings hand untill after blood singled out cheese. This is stands to reason he may have 'let' things happen and maybe the show will try to answer his motivations where the books did not, iv seen afew good videos on youtube showing how the show has been cleverly subtily hinting at some some of the theories about him.

Alicent and Cristin are both bonded by the fact they are both in love with Rhaenyra and also have a shared resentment of Rhae. They even do it in Rhaenyra's old room and bed.

In the book, it is very clear that Daemon intended Jaehaerys' death, given the way the brutal game of Blood and Cheese played out. I am sick and tired of this show trying to soften the menace 2 society and stone kold killa that is Daemon Targaryen.
