Nice reaction! This film is very much Todd Phillip's blended take on two Martin Scorsese films, 'Taxi Driver' (1976) and 'The King of Comedy' (1982). Some of the influences are very overt. Both are good films, but I've always liked TKOC to a greater extent. Funnily enough, they both feature a much younger Robert De Niro (main protagonist), who played as Murray Franklin in 'Joker'.

Abby Jane, can I recommend a doll’s story? The Twilight Zone-Episode “Living Doll,” (1963). Talky Tina was the original and inspired the Chucky doll and the Annabelle doll. Excellent film.

Awesome reaction vid Abby!! Ya my room mate suggested this show to me. I heard of it but I just didn’t pay attention. So she sat me down with her boyfriend and the love birds started me on season 2. Finished it and went back to watch season 1. Totally hooked on how amazing this show is!! In real life I would not have survived this. I would want to know what happens if you’re eliminated? Once I know they shoot you I’ll pass. I’m hearing after season 3 gets done. They may do an American version of it. I’m all for more Squid Game!!

I loved when you assumed R2 to be a Gift to Anakin because what most People dont know.. I think it was only mentioned in a Comic.. is that R2 actually was a Gift from Padme to Anakin. When they both got married they did not had rings or something to exchange so Padme (owner of R2) gifted him to Anakin and in exchange Anakin gifted her 3PO ;)

In Legends novels, Luke Slywalker also never wipes R2's memory and as a consequence, it can only work on ONE X-Wing, Luke's. but he thinks the droid and the fighter's computer work much more efficiently that way. In IRL combat tactics, having the high ground is usually a good idea, you have better view of what's coming, can prepare against it and you have more range as a result too. Achieving high ground advantage is primarily what fortifications are for...

This is not the Heath Ledger Joker or based on his version. It’s completely separate. Heath also had no issues or problems whatsoever with the character or method. You’re teacher must have been ridiculously ill informed. He hardly ever stayed in character on set and would make jokes, skateboard around and show photos of his new daughter like a proud dad and greet everyone with huge bear hugs at the beginning and end of each day. He literally was in the middle of filming his next movie and was telling everyone how proud he was of the work he’d done. The only reason he died is because he always suffered from sleeping problems and he accidentally took a toxic combination of sleeping pills and other medications while going to bed. It was a tragedy, but it was totally accidental. Heath was perfectly fine and the Joker role didn’t affect him in the slightest.

There is a reason that R2 is leagues beyond most other droids. His memories are never erased. I'm star wars when you don't periodically erase a droid memories droids start acting eccentric, independent, and more likely to disobey orders. What could that mean I wonder. R2 and one other droid perfectly exemplify this. These guys are also the two least likely droids in the star wars universe to have their memories wiped, ever

FYI Mace Windu's lightsaber is actually purple not pink. The Emperor IS in fact Palpatine... although you know that by now as you've seen ROTS. They are Clones in the Prequels and it goes into the Original Trilogy. However by the Original Trilogy they phased out the clones and used actual people.

There is a reason the separatists used droids. They were dirty cheap to use relatively speaking. The b1 droid the over you call the Roger Roger are as dumb as can be cuz they are super cheap. The more advanced models you get the smarter they are but the more they cost so there are less and less of them. B1s know how to shoot ... Mostly, and they can follow orders., well enough, That's really about as much as you can expect from them.

Boring isn't bad, but clones were mentally conditioned to be expendable soldiers so they are basically programmed to fight. These clones are essentially go getter personalities in a do nothing job. That's why they are so anxious. Also the fact that they are fresh off kamino so they are very fresh clones eager to prove themselves. (These are the same clones we saw in the earlier episodes) The more experienced clones have leaned patience. But these guys are still green around the gills as it were

Dont get it wrong, Grievous could have killed Ahsoka at any point of their duel. Its generally established that he likes playing with his victims (as seen whenever he has less than 3 sabers). Grievous also doesnt kill children, just harms and captures 😂

So it's not explicitly stated in the movie, but I think it's safe to say that a lot of the things that he says to other people are based on things that he has read in newspapers, magazines, and on television. As he says early in the movie, he wants to fit in, so he just copies other opinions and regurgitates them to other people in a way to make himself sound not just simply more intelligent but also human.
