Daemon had a point. Rhaenyra inherited her father's caution when it came to action. Daemon's methods may be harsh and cruel, but they get fast results and snuff out any potential revenge seekers. She needs a balance of both. Making smart actions, but she also needs to ACT.

​@@GustavoCardoso95 I think a lot of people misinterpreted that last scene. If Alicent could stop the war, she would definitely do it. But it was punctuated, especially at the council we saw earlier that episode, that she is powerless now. There's no stopping Aegon. There's no stopping Cole and the army. And after being shamed by Aegon and always being that second son, there's definitely no stopping Aemond. Especially after Otto was removed. On the flip side, Rhaenyra can't stop Daemon either. The war is inevitable.

She could not double down and say there's been no mistake. Denial or not, the least she could have done was grant Rhaenyra the decency to apologise. At the very least that might grant her future favors of being pardoned when war ensues. But no she holds her pride up steadfastly, it's hard to sympathise

What I think many don’t catch in the final scene is when Rhaenyra asks Alicent if Viserys said “The Song of Ice and Fire,” Alicent’s faced dropped slightly because Viserys mumbled ASOIAF to Alicent with her confused face, already set on son-Aegon on the “ugly iron chair.” So, Alicent knew she was fucked when Rhae confirmed Conquerer-Aegon. Alicent will go through this entire war knowing she fucked over Viserys’ wishes. Oof! 😬

No she wont because no she did not. Otto and the council had already long decided they were crowning Aegon, what she said had nothing to do with their decision. Otto and the councilmen didnt believe her anyway. Just last episode Otto told Aegon that Viserys did not want him to be king.

I don't think you get it that this scene was stupid and made no sense for many reason 1.ASOIAF lead to no where since Bran takes the throne so noone gaf 2.Alicent could do nothing she has no power Aegon does and he lost a son so he won't back away 3.They gained nothing from this scene only killed the tension between two charters they could build 4.They showed again how easy it is to sneak into KL too easy , so why not sneak in and kill Aegon ? 5.Rhaenyra plot armor is showing too much 6.This scene showed how weak Rahnyra is she cannot go without knowing her father loved only her while Alicent kids have to deal with it their whole lives 7.This scene was pure fan service and filler 8.War could only end in this scene if Rhaenyra surrender ,but we all know she is too greedy to do so this scene serve no purpose.

I even thought with Rhaenys saying that Otto wouldn’t have sent Erryk was wrong. Otto was upset with Cole taking action on his own, but when Viserys first died Otto wanted to send an assassin team to kill Rhaenyra and her entire family.

The battle at the beginning, the battle of the burning mill, was between the Blackwoods,(team black), and the Brackens,(team green). The Blackwoods and Brackens have been feeding for more than a millennia, so long no one remembers why. You may remember from season 1 episode 3, "King of the Narrow Sea" when Rhaenyra was receiving suitors at Storms End and a young boy made his pitch while an older bully chimed him, but then the younger killed the older bully. The younger was of House Blackwood and the bully from House Bracken and that's why they fought. Fun fact! At the Small Council they were discussing Lord Grover Tully of Riverrun, ancestor of Catelyn, Edmure, and the Blackfish. Lord Grover's grandson is named Elmo, and Elmo's sons are Oscar and Kermit. They are Lord George R.R. Martin's nod to Ser Jim Henson, Sesame Street, and the Muppets. Alys Rivers, the woman at Harrenhal, is a witch of sorts. While she appears young, some say she is ancient. There is a popular fan theory that I like, but don't buy into, that when Alys Rivers "died" she adopted the identity of a Red Priestess of the Lord of Light called Melisandre.

It's Diana the servant that was sent away by Alicent in season one with silver and the moon tea. After Aegon ... She was also seen terrified while serving him but he didn't recognize her. (He was too focuses on his squire, throwing peanuts at him and stuff)

Luke is dead and his biggest bully was his own brother, not the strong boys

I'm sure you know by now, but (Confirmed by the show runners) 3 of those 4 eggs Rhaena took with her and the children to Pentos are going to be Daenerys' dragon eggs, we can see the dark red (drogon), gold (visirion), and green (rhaegal) ones along with a silver one, which will either get lost, or i think probably hatch and become Rhaena's dragon. We know all will eventually come to ruin after the dance, and Rhaenyra did just secure the future, just perhaps not in the way she thought.

i have a theory that helaena is going to do something crazy. it seems they are building up her character to be more confident, and she has a big dragon called dreamfyre. In the books she doesnt do anything, but like Rhaena i have the feeling they will change her participation in the conflict. I am neither Team Black nor Team Green. There are people that I love and hate on both teams. I am a fan of Rhaenyra, but I despise Daemon. I like Alicent, but I hate Aegon. Unquestionably the only person wise and strong enough to hold the kingdoms together is Rhaenys, who is the only Targaryan that holds a place in my heart. That said, I am not here to be a cheerleader for one side. I am here because I love this fictional world and I love dragons. And it is the dragons whom I love most.

It would be a great experience to see reactors who would see things in a differentiated way. You definitely won't find that here either. Here they just stand blindly on one side without questioning or working through things that they have seen all the consequences. Only what you want to see is seen. It's funny when the same people then accuse Alicent of hearing what she wanted to hear. Such bullshit. It's just annoying and tragic. Alicent can't change anything anymore, even if she wanted to. She does not have the influence and power to do so (If it were different, she would try it, I'm sure, because she is someone who repents). That's why it's too late. Against all the haters here, it was made very clear again that Alicent put her son on the throne out of conviction and not because she heard what she wanted to hear. She did not fuck up and she is certainly not delusional or a fool. She did not know the story of ice and fire and therefore had no other reference to the name Aegon than her son in that context. Now there is no way back. Her son will not let the crown be taken away from him and his subordinates will not allow that. She can't do anything. In addition, it was made very clear in the last episode that Alicrent's sons no longer listen to her, thanks to Otto. This was literally the topic of the conversation between Alicent and Otto. Btw Alicent lets her friend go. What's more, she advises her to leave so that she can get away safely. The war could have ended right here in Hightower's favor. And never forget that Otto implanted the idea in her in season 1 that all her children will die by Rhynera if she becomes queen. Seasmoke is restless because his owner is still alive and unreachable for him. The bond between dragon and rider lasts until the rider dies. And as far as I know, the dragon does not accept a new rider for so long. If you give such hints that actually don't contribute anything to the story, you can assume that someone believed dead will soon become a topic again, maybe even come back. I'm almost completely on the black side, at least so far, but I'm not ignoring the other side and the circumstances that have brought Allisant into this situation. Both R and A are victims of the puppeteers of their environment. Their path was manipulated by others to the point of no return. And I think you usually do Alicent injustice throughout, bend realities to support the other side. I just find in this scene here at the end you can see that the two are and always have been friends. These are typical friends who are disappointed with each other and who both wish it were different, but couldn't. You can see that right from the beginning of the dialogue.

@@GustavoCardoso95 That doesn't fit again. Why should she now tell Rhaenyra exactly word for word what the king told her, if in her eyes alone there was only the possibility of a mistake? She tells her because she is 100% convinced that she is right and was therefore shocked. She didn't have to convince herself or fool herself or anything else. She acted according to her husband's word in the justified belief that it was his wish. Alicent has never been evil. She could only ever react to external circumstances that were immutably presented to her, just like Rhaenyra. Neither of them was ever really able to act. Others shit at the feet of the two and they could only either walk through or try to clean up. Either the shit stays on the shoe or just continues to smear itself wide. All a lose lose situation. Both are victims of circumstances and both try to act in the best conscience to do the right thing, if they are given the opportunity at all.

Unpopular opinion it seems, but Rhaenyra's council is right. Things HAVE already gone too far, the stakes ARE too high for either side to back down, war IS inevitable, and swift, decisive action DOES stand the best chance of ending it as quickly and painlessly as possible. Rhaenyra's desire to avoid war might be morally virtuous, but by this stage of the game it's delusional. She's like that nice guy in a bar fight who's still trying to talk things down _after_ the first punches have been thrown and bottles and chairs are already flying, because he doesn't understand that he's past the moment when the rules changed. You have to win the brawl before anyone will listen to you now, mate...

@@GustavoCardoso95 Well to steelman the show, they would probably argue that she _did_ have her bloodthirsty moment when she said "I want Aemond Targaryen", and if somebody had delivered him to her in chains the day after then what happened next wouldn't have been pretty. However, the fact that those four words resulted in an outcome that she wouldn't have wished for in a million years snapped her out of "win the war" mode and back into "we can't do this awful thing" mode.

This way he would actually teach her something while he still could and ensure that no one could steal the throne from her because by the time he died she would have been ruling for years.

Personally i dont see rhaenyra being a good queen. Shes made lots of bad decisions does t listen to her council, makes no decisions a lot of the time. And ,( unpopular opinion) i hate rhynese. She acts all high and mighty and says the men want war and death when she has the highest death count of any character in the show! And she killed small folk for no reason whatso ever and she coincidentally leaves that oyt when saying when the war started. And i thiught it was lame when she said rhaenyra wears jahareses crown. Just because yiu wear a good rulers crown doesn't make you a good ruler aegon wearing all aegon the conquerors stuff doesn't make him the conqueror or a good ruler.rant over
