daemon is king consort. he's deserve to be called your grace, alicent also called your grace when she's being a queen consort when viserys still alive.

True, but it makes sense that people would be unsure how Daemon fits into the system since they've never had a ruling Queen and King Consort before. Similarly to Elizabeth I and Philip in the UK, they didn't want to call Philip 'King' because that made it sound like he was in charge. Matt Smith played prince Philip in The Crown and there are a few parallels in terms of confusion of his role and his ego issues around having a wife who was his superior.

Is Daemon really "King Consort" or just a prince, as Prince Philip was called, because the title of king is actually above the title of queen, so the queen's husband cannot also be called king. At least in the British monarchy, on which the world of Westeros is closely based. That was also the case in the past, for example. Queen Victoria's husband was Prince Albert and not King Consort. In the Song of Ice and Fire Wiki, Daemon is only given the title of prince.

you're right. the tension within the story and between the characters is building and i'm enjoying every bit of it. it's reaching to a point where things are literally going to explode. yes, we're getting to the action very soon! house of the dragon s2 actually has 8 episodes, not 10. we're getting longer eps, which i'm fine with b/c they're providing a lot of context w/in these limited episodes. remember, s1 had a number of time jumps as they aimed to cover over 20+ years of story to get to what we're seeing right now. i'm good w/the slow build. as for daemon, the series has done a good job of making you believe he's going to do one thing, but is really doing something else. that's the great part of his complexity as a character. even though it may seem that daemon is literally going rogue right now and is trying to claim power for himself, he is still loyal to his family and is trying to get the riverlands' army for team black. also, harrenhal is known for being haunted. so the sequence when daemon arrives and the sounds he hears almost seems like ghosts or voices of the dead. daemon having that vision of a young rhaenyra where she talks about him always making a mess and her being left to clean up behind him, and then daemon seeing her sew back on jaehaerys' head shows him in a bit of shock, and remorseful as he sees what his actions have done. as the seasong goes on, you'll see the tapestry updated in the opening credits. jaehaerys' funeral was added this episode.

All servants and lords called Alicent "your grace", because she is the Queen-Consort (the wife of the monarch). Daemon is the Queen's husband and her royal consort, so he should also be called "your grace". This doesn't necessarily mean that he positions himself above Rhaenyra.

There aren't many who are actually mad as in 'mentally ill'. But there's a whole lot of them who make crazy decisions or are overwhelmed due to issues surrounding prophecy and Dragon Dreams. That shit is bound to drive you a little bit 'mad'.

@@pajamaparty01 True, but any look at Targaryen history, or just at F&B shows evidently that their decisions were entirely link to their position of power, not some genetic madness. Even Aerys the mad, what he experienced would make anyone mad, but he was King so... 🙁

@@unmila1626 Yeah. In fact only 3 can actually be called mad, out of the 77 Targaryens that lived from the conquest to Daenerys. Aerys "the Mad" (which became mad in his later years), Rhaegal (which became mad from his dragondreams) and Aerion (which thought himself a dragon and killed himself drinking wildfyre).
