It's extra sad because that used to be her daughter's dragon. I think Rhaenys felt guilty because she didn't kill the king at the coronation, and of course, her husband cheated and has bastards running around, and she thinks both of her children are dead. She was just sick and tired of the bs. She wanted to die fighting with her dragon.

Sad to see her go, but glad she let her husband know she knew about his side and he needed to do better, before she went out. Rhaenys knew Meleys wasn’t going to beat Vhagar, but she was a G. I think Aemond was going to finish Aegon off. I think he’s still alive, but comatose.

To be honest if Rhaenyra would have listened to Daemon from the beginning she would have been on the throne weeks ago. Daemon even asked Rhaenys (Corlys' wife) to come with him to kill Vaegar(Aemond's dragons). But she didnt go because Rhaenyra didnt order it. And just think Daemon is a better strategist than Aemond but nobody wants to listen to him. Imagine if they did. Smh

Rhaenys couldn't leave the battle. She would've left Rosby unprotected. That's Rhaenyra's bannermen and she is sworn to protect them. She can't expect loyalty from them if she doesn't keep her oath.
