The realm is still in peace and she send her children as envoys not as warriors or negotiators there was no way she would have known that Aemond is either at winterfell or at storms end I dont blame her sending her children Daemon couldn't go and Rhaenys couldn't go so she had no choice but to send her children.

this is what happens when people watch the show and talk all the time, they dont understand the world through writer's eyes and instead keep looking through their own modern mindset. They are not some mama's boys They are Targaryens and heir to the throne, If the lord of the westeros are to support them, they need to be seen as people worth fighting for. By this age Lyana Mormont was commanding battles and fighting white walkers. Prince Jacerys would get her the support of Winterfell and Eyrie. It was a calculated decision and if Dragons hadn't acted on their own, all would be good.

As far as CGI effects vs practical or what looks good vs what doesn't, I think we are fortunate the shows looks as good as it does - especially the dragon scenes - given the budget constraints of a season one series. The more popular the show becomes, the bigger the budgets in the future.

Syrax is smaller because it's kept captivity chained up probably all of their dragons are smaller than they should be... Luc's Dragon should be much bigger than it is because it's close to 10 years old, Vermax should be bigger but since the dragons on Dragonstone are kept in captivity they don't grow as much as the other ones do

I can understand your frustration with the CGI. Practical sets and effects are always better, but it is what it is. It's not soooooo terrible looking though 😅

Daemon snapped because he was angry that she didn’t want to kill the hightowers and that she was considering bending the knee, plus he realizes his brother didn’t trust him enough to tell him about the prophecy so he snapped

Daemon should not have grab Rhaenyra by the throat, but she has been acting like a sheep like her father all ten episodes, he is just trying to tell her like OLENNA in GOT told Dany, are you a sheep, no you are a dragon, be a dragon, Daemon this whole ep. has been going around and planning for war, because he knows it is coming, while everybody is wondering what to do. He is even out trying to bond with King Jaerhaerys dragon Vermithor, this dragon is the biggest dragon behind Vhagar, well, it took the death of her children, but you could see at the end, the blood of the dragon is finally coming out of Rhaenyra, love this show, it will be a hard wait for season 2

Poor Rhaenyra lost her father, lost her baby due to miscarriage and lost one of her sons in a matter a few days 😭😭😭 her birthright was also stolen from her. Rhaenyra has good reason to burn all the bloody greens. I don't blame Rhaenyra for sending her son Lucerys to storms end, storms end is very close and the chances for Aemond to have been there was very small Aemond could have easily been at House Stark or at the Tally's instead. I think it is just pure bad luck that Aemond happened to be there already. So sad that they both lost control over their dragons. And if Aemond did not tease Lucerys then none of this shit would have happened. Aemond just started a war.

tbh i think if Aemond didn't Daemon would've had at some point, he was so unhinged during the entire episode. Otto got lucky asf Rhaenyra was there.

Too be fair, Rhaenyra should've expected the greens to be patrolling the skies and sending envoys as well, its like Aemond said :"Do you really think, you could just fly about the realm, trying to steal my brothers throne at no cost." Each side was preparing for war and it was only a matter of time for something like this to happen, one side isn't just going to allow the other side to gain an advantage in the power struggle.

@@spartanoreo5075 I disagree with what you are saying Rhaenyra could not have anticipated that, the realm was technically still under peace and her boys was only send to be messengers not to be warriors or negotiators. And if any of the other greens was there Lucerys would still be alive. So what Aemond did was wrong you could see it yourself Aemond was shocked when Vhagar killed lucerys because he knows he just started the war.

@@WarNeverChanges9191 Disagree or not, Rhaenerya was gathering banners for support in the war effort(she wasn't doing it so she could just say hello) and so were the greens in order to measure which side would have the more numerical advantage, Luke also should've not entered the building having the for knowledge that Aemond was there too, after seeing Vhagar outside (because just like Daemon he is a loose unit, who also happens to hate him). Whether the realm on the surface is at peace, what is clearly not happening is anything besides that, as shown by the greens taking out Rhaenerya supporters in the capital , locking down the Capital and it's funds well crowning Aegon. It's like the whole Viserys thing all over again accept on a grand scale, where everyone plays along as if they are at peace well children are brought up hating each other and eyes are chopped out, but Viserys still lived under the guise that everything was fine or manageable , which is now paralleled with Rhaenerya and Alicents.

Daemon is acting like a warlord and to be honest, he is too overconfident and its important for Rhaenyra to remain calm and think logically. He said they have 13 dragons, half of them are just baby dragons , moondancer is so small that Baela can't even ride it. 3-4 dragons are unclaimed or wild dragons. They only got Syrax and Caraxes ready to fight at that time, later Maleys joined with Princess Rhaenys. vs their 3 dragons (4 if include Haelena's dragon) and one of them is Vaghar.

Baela dragons damage sunfire im pretty sure if they attack kingslanding with 13 dragons they will win cause caraxes and meleys can kill vhagar in a 1v1

@@tajaemartin2251 it was Maileys who damages sunfyre before getting killed aling with its rider princess Rhaenys. Caraxes kills vhagar by committing suicide itself. So they can kill vhagar 1v1 but won't survive themselves.
