i really enjoyed this video pilar, i’m happy for your new studio! you’re such a incredible person 💖 just to clarify (no spoilers i promise) they changed rhaenyra and alicent relationship in the show. book!rhaenicent were almost like enemies and alicent was already a grown woman while rhaenyra a child, so there weren’t any romantic feelings between them, instead rhaenyra dislike her so much and had a good relationship with laena velaryon along with daemon, that they sadly erased in the show to give that “queer” role to alicent lol

Aemond is not really a morally gray character in the book, rather a villain, he kills Lucerys with all his intention and has a feast in King's Landing for that, in HOTD they whitewash many characters that are loaded with ambition and hatred in the book so you can sympathize with them but it seems pathetic to me…As Sara Hess has spoken very badly about Daemon (confirmed as a morally gray character by GRRM) and has defended Aegon from being a rapist 🤷‍♀️ imo many villains can be better and complex like Cercei Lannister but anyways…Excellent video

now i have a question, how do you know he really wanted to kill lucerys. Not saying he is not a villain in the books, but how do you know if the narrator is unreliable, the maesters weren't on the sky with them on dragons seeing every single thing, were they?

The show hasn’t whitewashed anyone. There is something called character development and the writers of this series had to make very one-dimensional book characters (where their motivations and the context around the actions and decisions they take are virtually non-existent) and turn them into believable characters for the tv audience. It’s not like the ASOIAF books where every chapter is from a different characters pov that fleshes out their motivations through their inner monologues. Fire and Blood is an in-world history book that itself states clearly that the events depicted are taken from potentially biased and unreliable sources. It’s the whole point that GRRM is making about how our own history as we know it is inherently flawed because history books tend to be written from second or third hand accounts or in the case of conflict tend to be written by the victors. Also, Sara Hess’ comments were taken out of context and resulted in her receiving a lot of disgusting abuse from so-called fans. Something that Ryan Condal recently called out fans for.

I'm from Brazil,I loved the video I hope you buy the book "Fogo e Sangue" and when you get the book you could if possible make a video talking about what you think of the book, I really wanted to see your opinion about the book and I think it will be pretty cool because the second season will only come in 2023 or 2024 I don't really remember but until then you can read the book , I understand you I also love the couple Rhaenyra and Daemon #Daemyra 🇧🇷🇧🇷❤️❤️

Hi Pilar!💗 At first moment I really hated as many of us the scene where Daemon suddenly started chocking Rhaynera...But after watching this moment for a few times and listening the context I realize that Daemon was really shocked by a few things! First off all he never knew about the Prophecy!!! That means his brother never trusted him and never saw him as his heir! Second he was scared that Rhaynera seems to be weak as his brother and cant see and truly understand what is really going to happened until Luke's death! As we all saw at ep 9 the Greens were going to kill all the Blacks anyway because they are always will be a big threat for them! Daemon knew that only Dragons and actions can safe them now!!! He is a real warrior! We can see him supporting her claim and be so protective through all the episode. Certainly he is still grieving about his beloved brother who he believing was killed and his stillborn child. I believe in that moment he is trying to overcome his anger, sadness and pain and also trying to wake her up to realize that reality is not a dream and they need to be strong and united to safe their Family which they are both deeply love! Regarding there relationship, I don't think their was something like this before! Rhaenyra wasn't shocked of his act towards her because she knew him very well and understand him as they are not only lovers but also relatives and share the same blood. Rhanyre was only shocked by the fact that he never knew about the prophecy and the fact that only her was truly meant to be the her to the Iron Throne. 👑👑

Me encanta el nuevo nombre del canal Pilar, mucho éxito con tu estudio! Respecto a Daemon hay muchas versiones, tanto de los actores como de los show runners y directores.. Emma D’arcy dijo que eso no cambia el amor y la relación entre ellos y que Daemon lo hizo porque se sintió traicionado por su hermano etc y Ryan Condal mencionó que fue con el propósito de mostrar el lado “oscuro” de su personaje pero es tonto cuando Daemon no es realmente malo con su familia, de hecho cortaron muchas escenas de él mostrando su lado humano con sus hijas cuando Laena muere y con Rhaenyra después de la muerte de Visenya, el bebé que aborta. Se han mostrado muchas incoherencias de acuerdo a su personaje y esa acción no tiene sentido realmente cuando se trata de Rhaenyra porque él no dañaría a su familia físicamente, Daemon ni siquiera mata a su esposa Rhea en el libro ;-; Ojalá no se sigan desquitando con su personaje porque aún sigue siendo el favorito de la gente a pesar de todo y Matt lo hace simplemente increíble.
