my predictions- Aegon is killed by Otto. Baela injured in a drafon battle. Helaena marries Jace and becomes TB as she should. Final battle between Aemond and Daemon. Daemon wins securing Rhaenyra's throne.

👍 Good Job on the smart observations. You're one of the only reactors that realized that Rhaenyra DID tell Daemon and the others that she wanted Aemond. Rhaenyra also didn't bother to actually sit down and talk through specifics. She stated her desire and left which kinda left Daemon to do it himself. You also realized what I've always felt up to this point which is Daemon doesn't really want the throne because like you said, there's been so many opportunities for many many years for him to take action and make a play for it but he never did. Daemon is actually VERY loyal to Rhaenyra, he just hates the way she approaches conflict similar to Viserys, his brother, because he feels like it's too weak which could lead to them losing.

That wasn't impulsive. She didn't even listen to them when she returned again. She just said I want Aemond. She isn't that much better than Aegon. She is acting pretty much like viserys much which is what caused all these problems to build up in his rain and now exploding.

I think you're giving Daemon more credit than he deserves...which is your right, but Daemon was going to move against the Greens even before Rhaenyra returned from finding her son. Also, I think it is more plausible that he told Blood and Cheese exactly what they did than they misunderstood. We don't know exactly of course, but Blood specifically quoted Daemon's "a son for a son" if they can't find Aemond. The only son aside from the king (who would be untouchable) was the baby boy.

There is a reason Daemon is called The Rogue Prince and was George's Favorite Character in his stories. He is absolutely my all-time favorite character from the lore. can't be controlled and is the epitome of what a Targaryen Dragon Lord is. Never wanted the throne just wanted to be acknowledged and wanted the Targeryens to stay on top. he sees the weakness in Rheaynera just as he did in Viseries. He is loved by the common folk and is hated by anyone that had ambitions to the throne or to undermine the Targaryen's because he is seen as their biggest threat.

I think this show is probably dead I've never had much interest in it myself but my dad who is got mad has stopped watching it now. I think I've had to put got on his various devices half a dozen times as its all he seems to watch but he actually told me today he isn't interested in House of Dragons anymore. To me that's a huge sign this show is probably dead.
