I miss Otto and I never thought this would happen! He would be able to see the problem with parading the head of Meleys around Kings Landing right away. Aemond is too prideful and dense to make Otto his hand but he barely has a chance at ruling.

Baela and Jace were the highlight for me, they both got multiple scenes including with each other. I’m glad I’m not alone in wishing we just like a little good bye kiss. But I do love how comfortable they are with each other.

I feel like the writers don't understand or really care about Daemon. They're digging him deeper and deeper into unlikable, then they'll kill him off. I hope we get to see the good aspects of his character again before the battle above the gods eye.

I loved the small gesture from rhaenyra setting aside the cask with the hand of the queen when she planned to ask Baela to go right away. She seen Baela was hurting, so she set it aside out of hand and talked and comforted Baela. The most anyone has been comforted this whole season. Was a small gesture and think it shows the difference in the two sides.

The team behind the Eyrie in this episode....are they drinking from Daemon's cup cause that was NOT the Eyrie, not even bloody close. And bloody hell, I know Targs are gunna Targ but come on! Did we really need that? We get it, he's a second son and he's struggling with it. They better be building to something good cause if they mess with Daemon's arc like they did Daenerys' then I will be officially done with these HBO adaptations, and you can find me weeping in a corner waiting for Winds of Winter.

alicent and criston interaction was probably the best scene in the episode (alongside with one-minute take of olivia cooke heavily breathing and baela & corlys). now, i don’t like criston as a person but my god the tremble in his voice, the awkward way of saying every word.. you just see how deeply he was traumatized by the rook’s rest. i would love them to explore this side of him a bit more. thank you for the video, it always sooo interesting to listen to your thoughts especially because you don’t go into extremes and actually see all sides in the story!!

Dead on about Daemon. Its so irritating at this point. He was favored last season and I feel like they are trying to portray and even worse side to get people not to like him. Hope I'm wrong. Because the books and GRRM is quite clear that he is equally GOOD and BAD. That is what makes him an interesting character.

I love to think that so far we all like Alyss Rivers and how she´s (allegedly) helping Daemon in his arch... yet, there is this part of me that still believes that she is BAD and she´s just playing, and all of this we are seeing about how she cares for the smallfolks and how she´s funny is all a façade, and at the end she´s just the evil witch playing with him and driving him crazy.

Once again an amazing video! Just have a question about sunfyre. This episode made it seem like they were dead but we know the book is different and sunfyre still participates in the war. Do you think they'll change the event sunfyre takes part in or maybe they just think they are dead but they are still alive?

That’s what I was freaking out about. There was a line that I rewinded to make sure I heard it right: Sunfyre took long in the dying. This is a major change with what the golden dragon does later on in the book.

Idk why but it feels like what daemon is experiencing is just a vision, what if what Alys gave him last episode just made him fall in some sort of coma and we’re just seeing his dream/vision ? I think it’s some type of trip for him to realize how bad of a king he would’ve been. Idk I might be wrong.

10:47- not sure if you maybe misspoke or not but daemon didn’t burn the brackens. if you go back to the convo between him n the blackwood guy, after daemon says “i didn’t think they’d be so eager to die” n then he tells daemon that he “should’ve obliged them” or in other words, that he should’ve burned them like they said to do. n daemon responds with “i came to raise an army, not corpses. they’d rather burn than die, that’s the men i need” (i’m paraphrasing btw lol it was something along those lines) n then he tells blackwood to go n do some war crimes lol not really a big deal, but just wanted to point that out to you just in case you did miss it n it wasn’t misspeaking lol love you n your vids sooooo much btw ❤❤❤❤

I need more Helaena interacting with the other characters. Also I saw a theory online that Alys Rivers is a ghost in Harrenhal. It seems that when she is in a scene with someone other than Daemon they dont look her way as if she isnt even there. Also this week when Ser Simon approachs Daemon about the Brackens coming to Harrenhal, Ser Simon walks past her and seems to look at her but im thinking is he looking to see who Daemon is talking too because she isnt actually there.

I feel as if Rheanyra should try and portray a mix between Rheanys and Visenya. Both were loved and respected by Westeros, but so feared. Both of aegons sister wives were able to rull completely fine. Aegon would always leave and let them rule in his stead. Rheanyra needs to atleast take example from the two:)

Am I the only one who feels like they are dragging Daemon's storyline so they can keep Matt Smith around as long as they can? I mean, I love Matt. He is killing this role but if keeping him around longer than he needs to be is killing the story, that's not good.

Love your content soo much ♥️♥️♥️ So i have a question not related to the episode, hope you see this because i need an explanation 😭 So about hair color, I need someone to explain to me why is it that only the strong boys have different hair color, yet alicent is a red head and all her kids are blonde, but then we see Aegons bastard and hes blonde as well as other targ bastards..someone explain genetics to me because this show is confusing me, is the blonde gene just from a targ father? How do the genes know if youre married or not 😅 make it make sense!!

I think a bit of both! I think it started with him thinking he could mould aemond but now he’s beyond anyone’s control and Cole is just realising the extent of the problem
