I'm pretty sure that castle and the imp from the castle (Strong) are both supernatural and controlling the entire Dance of the Dragons. Stand by. Pay close attention to what is going on. These writers never include anything that isn't important and they also hide deep things within each scene. They don't have time to waste on anything that isn't there for a reason. HBO won't give them enough episodes for them to waste one second. You may want to rewatch those scenes and you may want to read about the history of that castle and its standing in the other show. Pay attention to Larys and his scary rats. Also, remember the witch is supposed to be his sister.

This episode was everything I wanted with the sowing of the seeds. Vermithor telling everyone but Hugh to get off his lawn was so good! And then Silver Wing and Ulf. She's so pretty! I laughed so hard at the fact that King Regent Almond almost got duped by a drunken lowborn dragonrider, Ulf the White 🤣

It was so funny! Ulf is so unpredictable, and isn't that going to be his greatest strength? Right now Silverwing has top 3 dragon potential, close up there with Moondancer and Seasmoke haha -Matt

-THAT'S WHAT I SAID!!!!! - Jayce! This was YOUR IDEA! So now that we had to go fishing for people lower than a Knight, you're all upset! I was pissed with him! -Yes! That was a terrifying episode of "How To Train Your Dragon". Vermithor was terrifying and he picked the perfect rider. Hugh was DONE. He just didn't care anymore and was ready to die! That's the perfect rider for him. However, Hugh's wife is STILL in King's Landing. I could see Team Green kidnapping her for leverage over him. -Aemon is a WAYYYY better King than Aegon.

I think aemond is a way better king than aegon as well. it's like Aegon left the city in shambles and now aemond is here trying to clean up the mess and he's doing a decent enough job with what is happened. It was totally Jace's idea but I think it didn't really hit him that the people that would show up would be silver haired or people way more related to the family (like Hugh) than they are. Facing a brood of blondes just made him tip over the edge with his own spot in the family. He was acting out, but it made such sense and it was good to see him confront his own feelings and insecurities about himself and his heritage. Felt like the first time he was a more fleshed out character to me. - Jess

- I'll admire dragons from a distance, thanks! - My heart broke for Jace - Ugh, I worry that either Hugh or Ulf (or both) will take their dragon & deflect to Team Green - You've definitely made good arguments regarding Alicent not returning to King's Landing. My gut tells me she won't, but it's certainly possible & would make sense.

Great episode! The sound bites for the dragons are crazy. Vermithor sounded amazing. Rhaenyra was the MVP for me. She had the best visuals too.

Me to myself at the end of the episode: Absolute power corrupts absolutely!!!!!! I was not alone. I thoroughly enjoyed the episode and in addition to the scenes with Vermithor (horror scene), I cannot wait to see how the dance of the dragon progresses.

when he pulled his foot out it looked like a white membrane of goop and I heard a crack so it was giving egg vibes to me :) I could see either deciding to go to Team Green. Addam feels like a lock where he is. - Jess

My goodness! They have a lot to wrap up in the last episode. I loved all the Dragon interactions. So potentially 8 dragons for team Black. Maybe Jace refuses to ride his dragon with the new riders. I think Ulf would be most likely to turn for money. Daemond is having a mental breakdown. Who knows what will break him out of it. What can Allicent even do to change her situation. It will be an exciting finale with a great cliffhanger, I bet.

But the young man who is riding Seasmoke doesn’t have silver hair. Jace’s complaint seemed to be rooted in that he’s not a pure blood and has black hair. That anyone can claim the throne if they can ride a dragon now.

It's true that Addam doesn't have silver hair, but I think you're on the money with Jace getting his back up over seeing a stream of silver haired people show up. That conversation he had with her about his hair color and his own claim and where he stands was a long time coming. I know it was his idea to do this, but once he saw everyone come in it really hit him that the only thing making him different from everyone else there is that his mother stood up for him and protected him and once she dies who is there to make sure he's next in line if he looks like this? - Jess

The episode was amazing and completely flawless, IMO...on an unrelated (and random) note...I hope the entire series keeps the random appearances of Cheese's dog, all the way to the end. For some reason, I always lmao when I see him now.

I'm not a book reader but I think I have figured out Daemon's story is setting up something huge. Daemon is setting up the resolution of the dance and will make the other show make more sense. Daemon and the haunted house are going to keep going on...

I feel like they are going to have Daemon reunite with Rhaenyra in the finale on Sunday, but you could be right and they could keep Daemon on this path into next season for sure. A lot of it will depend on where he lands with his self discovery - does he want to be king or not? If the answer is no then he will leave there and go home. - Jess

My MVP's of the episode were Little Oscar Tully and Hugh Hammer. Jace was getting on my nerves being snooty and calling people mongrels. Like, sir, you're a whole bastard out here. Simmer down!

oh he was getting on my nerves too! I think it was just a real come to god moment for him about who he really is, him being snippy and showing his own insecurities about how he feels about himself and the position he's in because of his mom's choices and now the position he's in because of his own suggestion. Jace was acting like a straight ass, but it finally showed a lot of what he's thinking and feeling about his own station in life that we hadn't gotten. Jace has always been a flat character, this was one of the first times he was fully formed, even if it was in the form of him being an ass. - Jess

They took two years to make 8 episodes And Daemon at the haunted caste seemed like the entire season. Those were the only major flaws in an otherwise great season

The reason why everyone is fighting over the crown lands is it's strategic location. You cannot move troops into Kong Landing without it. Damian doesn't know about the other riders and thinks its a land war.

yes that's what I was saying in the video, that Daemon doesn't realize that this isn't going to be fought on land and he's over there kinda wasting his time after what we saw at rook's rest. Feet on the ground aren't going to mean anything without getting the dragons out of the sky. Daemon is so isolated he just doesn't have his finger on the pulse of what's actually happening. - Jess

Actually Land Soldiers are still very important even with the Dragons because Dragon can't hold and occupy land so what you do is send the Dragon first then the troops come and occupy the land. Kind of Like the Navy and the Marines. The Ships are like the Dragons, they can bomb sites on seas and air ,but Marines need to come in and clean up the rest. Then after that the Army come and occupy the land. So just burning Soldiers with Dragons isn't enough you still need troops to hold the land you are conquering or protecting.

At this point, Aemond can win if he secretly poisons the team black dragons. Perhaps by feeding them poisoned animals. If Aegon gets better in time, he may call a truce with team black. The real battle for the throne will be between Rhaeneyra and Daemond!!!👀👀👀👀

I think Daemon thinks he is battling with Rhaenerya for the throne, but he's so far removed from everyone and everything that he doesn't realize the ground battle is a loss and that all the adults are battling in the air lol Rhaenerya has so many dragons now I duno how Aemond wins. Vhagar is huge, but she can't beat them all. - Jess

Off topic but what are your thoughts on Dexter Resurrection? Apparently everyone hated New Blood so much they have decided to undo it lol If he is indeed alive as all signs point to it i hope we get Dexter Batista confrontation and Dexter in prison which would be different. In GOT Joffrey told the story of how Rhaenyra was eaten by her brothers dragon so im so curious to see how the greens are able to turn this around.

I think the big question I do have for Rhaenyra's potential demise is this: How much will end up being accurate? So much of Fire & Blood and the stories are anecdotal in a way. -Matt

I was like “ Wait a minute 😳” what kinda Dragons and kings is this? Then today here you are talking about episode 7! I actually went and watched it to understand what you were talking about! Well if you get in a plane I don’t think the flight from San Fran to Oakland is that long and it’s not like the show is in real time. It obviously took a lot longer than was shown for Aemond to get to his horse and get to Vhagar and get on her and up in the air. That’s a lot of time they’re moving past and honestly… I don’t care to see any of that lol
