I think her main complaint with the sims island cabinets is how there's no cupboards on the side there should be, only on the stool side. But I had the same initial thought lol

I love when Americans get so excited about non-fixed shower heads (or "the sprayer" as you called it lol). They're so common in Europe!!! I can't imagine having your shower head fixed in one spot, what if you want to spray down your feet or armpits or something? It just seems impractical to me

My thoughts exactly. I’m from Finland, fixing to move to Texas because my husband is Texan. Non-fixed shower heads and bidet shower (handheld smaller shower that you cn use to shower your privtes when you’re aitting on toilet, great for personal hygiene after number two or during periods etc.) are the first and most important upgrades to our house!

even in canada detachable showerheads are pretty common. i moved into my apartment and it didn’t have one so the first thing i bought was a detachable showerhead. i have dyed hair and i want my damage deposit back lol

I put them in my bathroom first thing. It’s usually easy to change out the shower head, and they aren’t that expensive.

The thought of owning a house in your early-mid 20s (even 30s) is mindblowing to me. I live in Vancouver and the average price of a house here is just under $2 million. And those are pretty rare because they get snatched up right away. So realistically for most people it's over that. :(

It's doable if you move to the suburbs like Surrey/Langley (which are actually very nice places to live). You just have to get into the housing market first. After that it gets easy with building equity and home values increasing. I bought a condo in Surrey for around $400,000 ( $20,000 down payment) two years ago now I'm selling for $700,000 and buying an actual house with a decent yard. And I only make minimum wage so far.

Totally understand the removable shower head thing! Coming from Europe where that is the standard I always wonder watching American shows or movies how anyone gets proper clean with just those shower heads that are attached to the wall in one spot like this emoji: 🚿 What if you're taller? Funny, that the sprayer is so cool to you. I think that I never had seen a shower or bathtub with no sprayer. I guess a sprayer is a showerhead that you can move? All the showers I know have a moving showerhead, sometimes just the moving one. But maybe that's a german thing.

In the US a lot of showers/ tubs don't have a sprayer just a showerhead on the wall. I Europe it's normal to had this, I'm not from the US but saw a lot of pics, videos ect about this topic.

Sprayers in the shower are a MUST. I use mine after every shower to rinse off soap and stuff, and then I follow with the Method Daily Shower Spray which keeps soap scum and hard water build up from accumulating. SO GOOD because washing the shower sucks otherwise lol
