I am sorry for your loss. I keep a framed picture of my dad next to the stove, and another on the breakfast bar where I sit. That one is a picture of him sitting at the table about to put his spoon into a beautiful dessert. It’s as if he’s sitting there with me. When I am upset about a problem I talk to him, and I know what he would say. The love and wisdom of our elders is ours to keep forever.

I never thought I’d enjoy watching someone clean and meal prep and yet I absolutely find your videos so relaxing and motivating. I often listen rather than watch, because I’m busy cleaning or working myself. The sounds of your music and household cleaning sounds is therapeutic to me. When I was growing up I used to doze off doing my homework while listening to my mom clean the kitchen because the sounds were so relaxing. I struggle with getting a handle on my home now as an adult, but I give myself a lot of grace because I have a lot going on. I watch your videos and learn little tricks that can make things go smoother. I know having a tidy and clean home will bring me so much peace one day. In the meantime I can feel it in watching/listening to you. Thanks for sharing with us!

My routines have been so out of wack, my older daughter started kinder, so it’s been so hard to get my workout, cleaning, meals, and school routines in order. I’m trying to be better about just embracing it. I can do what I can. If I don’t get around to it, it can wait for tomorrow ❤ I love your videos. They motivate me to be a better homemaker ❤

Life is a juggling act. and if you toss in one more ball, I drop everything 😂 it always takes a while to figure out how to make it all work. Try using a time block calendar - like google - to see how to schedule your time. When I know know I can’t do it all, I focus on the priorities. You got this! 🥰

Yours is the only channel that I have ever watched over and over again, picking up new ideas every day. I especially like the meal prep ones. I recently started watching your channel and have been binge watching it since that day....I don't know how you have the energy to do everything but you have set some really hard goals for everyone wanting to organise their life😊 I also tried your banana bread muffins and I have never been successful at baking anything gluten and dairy free. Hi Randi! Loved the phrase 'cook once, eat twice'! Next time you are out of celery for a soup base or suchlike, do try some fennel bulb. Treat it just the same way. It lends a delicate fresh flavour that I really enjoy and i hope you do too! Take care

Another fantastic video. TBH, I skip watching you fold socks, but I've been trying to roll my towels like you do. I FINALLY got it today! I have been folding my T-shirts the same as you for a few months, and it makes getting dressed faster and less stressful as I can see what T-shirts I have to choose from. Thank you because just gave me a solution of my sons clothes. I will use mini bins for socks and t-shirts and clothes Tod for hang drying. And same with my wash clothes too and kitchen clothes and towels.

Randi, I love your relaxing, inspiring videos. I freeze ripe bananas and use them in smoothies, or just eat the slices as a healthful substitute for ice cream. I slice the bananas and freeze them in a single layer on a pan lined with wax paper, then pop them into a freezer bag.

Really enjoy your shares!! I definitely believe in cook once eat several times. Empty nesters here however my husband is a connivore and I'm vegetarian so I've developed a routine of preparing meats that he is able to eat off at least 4 to six servings. I freeze portions for later use when cooking is just not on my daily wants. So freezer preps come in handy. I was away for 2 months assisting my elderly mom and husband was able to hit the freezer for lunch and dinner options. As for veggies/beans I freeze them in mason jars for future use it works well.

I love that you mentioned that your muffins were gluten free. My 19 yr old daughter was just diagnosed with celiac disease in Aug. We are having to find all new foods and recipes for her to try. After 19 yrs, she has learned to love so many foods and is having to start over in some ways. She loves banana bread and banana pudding. I found gluten free vanilla wafers, so I will be trying that as well. The gluten free noodle alternatives have been good so far. We are just glad there are so many options now. hello Randi :-) You have to be careful with rice. There have been studies in Germany that rice contains a lot of arsenic when cooked plain. It is recommended to do it like in Asia. Before cooking, wash the rice until the water is clear. It is even better to soak the rice for at least 2 hours and then wash it until the water runs clear. This removes most of the arsenic. Arsenic is a natural component of rice, so it has nothing to do with fertilizers or sprays. Greetings form the other side of the world ;-)

Questions. Didn’t take bottom of blender off? I take all the part apart give good clean after every use. Tools from project that morning? When I finish project I put tools away or by where they live. When you get out bed you could make your bed. Nope I don’t make the bed. I don’t have magazine photoshoot ready bedroom. Okay nothing in my house photo shoot ready. Wow y’all spent a lot on remodel. I thought it was new house til saw the outlet for phone. I have replaced the covers with blanks since I use a lane line. Okay I liked the files in kitchen. Do you have a lock for it. Wow lot of laundry for doing it daily. Wow that is a lot of socks. I just toss the socks in a base. Grab and go. No one is looking at my socks. Stop it KZbin don’t need be looking at my socks. Do you work 40 hrs a week with commute? I have total of hour+ commute and work 8 hrs per day. Position has quality and quantity standards. Work work work. Oh no stop to talk. Now speed up make up numbers. I come home tired. I could never clean up the whole house and laundry daily. Plus my house is not remodel. My house could never look like yours. I don’t make enough for all Decor you have. My house I don’t have dressers. I toss sheets, blanket over hanger. Jeans hung up. Everything but underwear and socks. Plastic and wire hangers. There is no money for wood hangers, dressers, or containers for stuff. I just cannot live this your standards. My house is tidy and clean. There is lots of dust. I will get to sometime. I am bread earner I need to recover from work to be fully successful the next day.

I'm not sure it matters too much. As a rule of thumb, the floors should be last. especially if you're going to have people in and out of your house.

Does anyone know of a cordless lightweight vacuum that doesn’t require a charging dock? I’m looking for one that won’t get long hair wrapped around the beater brush. I need it for both carpet and hard flooring. I also need something for the carpeted stairs. Thank you.

The skins taste pretty much the same. If you like potato skins, then you like the sweet potato skins. They might be a little bit thinner. 😋
