I've just binge-watched your renovation series and really enjoyed it. Reminded me of my renovation many years ago - you can look forward to washing dishes in the bath once you start doing the kitchen 🤣 I hope to see more from this series. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

That ending could be called the "Blair Watts Project"

I’m gonna miss these updates when it’s finished 😂

Thanks David. You looked more excited about the progress and how things are going today. Renovating is a lot of stress. Enjoy your break. Take care.

Looks good. Having decent light makes all the difference!

Well ... the lighting really changes the "mood" of the house. Nice to have that project (almost) behind you.

A nice big wine rack would go well down there with the spiders. ;-)

compared to the tiny SMD before you have to work with parts and things in brick size. Much easier I guess in most spots - except some I guess. Great progress and your voice and moods sounds a lot lot better than in the beginning. Do not forget: you will have to clean a few more times so do not clean to much cause will have still a lot of things to do once you start working on walls and further lines and sockets you might wanna add later.

You are right, I noticed when putting it on the computer, I sound a lot happier than day 1-4. Really pleased with the functional result, just working bright lights is amazing but also being close to having a workshop space again is really exciting.

To extend the DSL, just use a normal CAT 6 or CAT 7 cable. The impedance should be correct, to not slow down the data rate.

David, what are all those standoffs behind the plugs and light switches?
@DavidWatts3 жыл бұрын
They are there so you can get a clean finish on the plastering, ha ha, they will be like that for a while. They can be taken off and the faceplates dropped back into the back plates later.
