Wow hasnt your house expanded as your family has grown, through your clever use of space. How hard to cope without your lovely mum, bless you. My dad also had dementia and my mum nursed him, she was 95 at the time!! My husband and sister both went to glory in 1999, within just a few weeks of each other. Very hard to deal with. But we keep on trusting God.

We didn't see Thomas the whole time! Was he napping too?? LOL. Obviously, he was fine, but I just kept expecting to see him and it never happened.

I was thinking the same thing! He wasn't in his bed (at 5:06) and the only person who would've taken him anywhere without us would've been my mom and she was there. I finally decided he must've just been downstairs with us when Tom was going through the upstairs part and then maybe went with my sisters in the living room (maybe while Tom was busy waking up Asher!) and we just never saw him.

Do you still scrapbook? Seems like it's sort of lost its popularity. My sister was into it but not me, I just enjoyed the fruits of her labor!lol am I assuming correctly that your sisters weren't much into it either? Seeing how they opted to watch a movie upstairs 😀

I switched to a digital method of scrapbooking, but I haven't even touched that since I started YouTubing. Not enough hours in the day! I do hope to resume it in the future, but I'll probably continue doing it digitally. It's nice being able to print out multiple copies of a page and it's so much cheaper. It was a hobby my mom and I really enjoyed together (and no, none of my 3 sisters ever got into it), but after she died it kind of stopped being fun. The last time my mom came to my house I showed her the first couple of digital scrapbook pages I ever made. I hadn't thought about it till this moment, but I guess it was a fitting last visit.

He and Asher shared a room. You can see his little toddler bed briefly at 5:06. What's puzzling me is where _is_ Thomas? He must've just been moving around and was never in the same place Tom was at the same time. The only person he would've been away from home with is my mom and she's there so that's the only explanation I can come up with.

Andrea and Tom, Have you ever thought of putting on an addition? I only ask this because as #3 of 4 girls our house felt tight and like there was no privacy, and we all had our own bedrooms. I know we were fortunate enough to have that. Our family is definitely blessed. So I was just curious if you have ever had times where you were at your wits end and wanted to send all the kids to their rooms. Lol! This is by no means a judgement, just a curiosity...

That's definitely something we'd like to do someday. We'd prefer not to borrow more money if we don't have to so we just keep working with what we have now until that day comes.

Yes, it's about half full of cattails now. Tom regrets putting them in there so when we were watching this video together he said, "No, take those cattails out of there! You're going to regret it!" The other end of the stream now was a little pond with a corral around it where we keep turtles sometimes.
