Lovely renovation! Especially the NOT having a huge TV on display in the living room, it should be hidden away for socializing anyhow.

You don't need to stay condominium to renovate the whole house.From this idea you could see how the old to new concept it makes the house bigger and nicer.And it if its for sale i would definitely buy this house.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Overall the reno is simplistic and modern but I see 4 major problems the owners will face in future. 1. Having the washing machine built into cabinet is never a good or practical idea. There is bound to be water from clothing dripping onto the wood and sometimes leaks in the water inlet pipe will completely damage the wood. The dryer is also in built. The question is where does the air escape from? If the owners have to purposely open the cabinet door when the dryer is in use isn't a very well thought out design by the id. 2. The sink isn't supposed to be at that location because outside the window, I saw the metal racks for drying clothes. While these owners may not want to use it and rely solely on the dryer, it makes selling this unit harder because the next owners also have to adopt the same concept or completely renew the kitchen cabinet. 3. The full length window at the balcony is always a nice feature to have but this is the usual point of ingress for water from outside. Soon, the owners will have water problems seeping into the walls and wetting the balcony floor. 4. The problem with walk in closets in Singapore hdb flats is that the distance between the shower area and the closet is just too close. Besides water and mould problems in future, it is also very hot to be in the walk in closet if someone is taking or has recently taken a hot shower. These are the problem areas any future owners thinking of such features should ask their contractor to resolve first before renovating. If you're not convinced by your contractor's solutuons, then it's best to avoid such features.

Don Kang just because you disagree with my opinion, it doesn't give you the right to label me mad. My points are legit and based on research and experience whereas you have given no evidence to prove I am mad. You don't have to stoop so low and support your friend by saying I am mad. I did not say the house reno was not nice. I pointed out 4 flaws that will give the owners problem in future and advised others who read this to avoid before making the same mistake. If that is madness then you are one big quack.

Zaleha Lubis you shouldn't poke your nose where it doesn't belong (in other people's matters). However I would let you know that I totally disagree with you. Good parenting is what separates children growing up to be morally upright members of society. Bad parenting is what will see children growing up to become a nuisance in schools, in societies, etc. Don't be afraid to say things as they are.

Built in Washer, Dryer might look neat and nice but it is not practical. The heat generated by the Dryer would warp the cabinet in no time and not forgetting the Dryer will breakdown from over heating.
@zombiesforyou6 жыл бұрын
It’s probably not fused to the cabinet lol. Anyway, very common to create a “closet” with folding doors to hide washer/dryer in many condos.

also not to mention that this dryer is waaaay too high for shorter people.... usually a dryer and washer stack together is around 160~170cm which is fine and comfortable for most people to use. But they just have to put this oven in between! now the control panels of this dryer is somewhere around 2 meter high....well i guess the owner is really tall and okay with it....

the kitchen is nice to see, but practical? it might suit the current owner but not majority of singapore household. The sink is built at window for cloth hanging, thus can't really use that part to sun dry cloth anymore, need to use dryer all the time. higher electricity overtime. no power socket along the kitchen cabinet next to coffee machine. Real kitchen has many appliances.
