After becoming empty nesters, Robin and her husband downsized, creating a space that’s both calm and inviting. While Robin usually loves working with color and pattern, she chose neutrals and solid textures for this home to create a peaceful, timeless feel. One of the highlights of the home is the kitchen island, which has become a lively dance platform for Robin’s four boys and nieces whenever they’re back for a visit. It’s a playful touch in a home that’s otherwise calm and understated.

i do like her style. the amount of light on the main floor on a sunny day is so special - it bounces off everywhere. the yellow room is really soft and soothing - even though i'm not normally fond of yellow. her master is really to die for - so spacious, comfortable, private, luxe. a truly articulate and stunning woman. i used to work at a high end furniture store with interior designers who had that ease, beauty, intelligence and style like her. magnificent on every level!

I live on Cape Cod and the interior is not Cape Cod at all. Maybe it is just the house that is a cape not the interior. Too much black leather and black kitchen counters, and big black bed frame, black coffee table...very dark wood ...not even a warm mahogany. Looks dreary. Feels the house has no heart even thought the homeowner looked and seemed lovely. I can understand why her friends were surprised .

She’s wonderful, the house is beautiful, but the home would benefit from a better sense of decor/ design. IMHO It’s okay, just not as great as that house could look. ❤
