I’m not surprised he wanted to major into psychology because his passion for interior design can be deeply woven into how our personalities drive the direction of how we live, things we choose to live with and what makes us who we are. I paused mid video to purchase arrows online for a vase at my entryway and I will always remember where I discovered the idea! Unique color, pattern, texture, and provenance-it's all there. I still have that Elle Decor issue with Rayman Boozer's apartment on the cover! May 2006, I'm looking at it right now! No other interior in a magazine has had so much influence on me, even looking at it now. I'm so excited to see him on Homeworthy in a new place, but that old one will always live in my heart.

This was the (IMO) best Homeworthy ever! I feel like Rayman Boozer and I were separated at birth. I (sadly) did not know of him but I absolutely can relate to everything being his favorite! The "Blue Eyes" paint color I have been looking for all my life, the décor books, etc.. Everything you have should be your favorite or why have it? People are always trying to get me to downsize but I am emotionally attached to my treasures and they rekindle memories and good times. It's interesting that the very people that tell me I have too much are at the same time fascinated while in my apartment just as I was watching this video. I must have stopped it 20 times to look at something closer or to google some artist. I call my look layering which has become a cliché but it's what it is for me. A layering of my lifetime. Incredibly gorgeous loft. I love the couch in the lounge, it looks so comfy and the little tables. Actually, like Rayman says everything is my favorite. The design and colors and art. The "old blue eyes" paint really pops and that whole piece adds so much character. Every "room" is interesting and flows wonderfully space to space. First of all, I love that he's from Indiana and living on the East Coast. It's nice to know another Hoosier made it out. 😉Second, what a great home! Although I'm not a maximalist, I love real bohemian decor and culture. I say "real" because a lot of bohemian spaces are the result of people trying to capture an aesthetic. But with Raymond, his space truly seems to capture his life, what he loves, and who he's met along the way. That to me is what real bohemians do. His rather monotone way of speaking completely betrays how colorful his lifestyle is. And his approach to his home is a breath of fresh air in a time where everyone seems to decorate to largely to impress others, instead of simply expressing themselves. I especially love that blue on the wall unit in the living area. It's beautiful! And of course, I spotted that Kelly bag the minute they walked into the closet. 😍
