House Tour ( Promise phan)

Yaaaay...I get to finally give you guys a tour of our house. I wanted to film this as soon as we bought the house about a year ago but it was pretty empty. It took forever to fill the house with furnitures since it was so much bigger than our apartment. This tour was more a Christmas edition tour since I take Christmas very seriously hehe. Christ is the reason for the Season.
I got inspired to do the Winter Wonderland theme this year because of the movie frozen. I also figured it would be work out well since everything in our house is white already. If you guys have a room theme or colors you like to work with while decorating then Plz share it in the comments below. I need ideas for next year !!!

I envy those who stay in large countries. They always have really big houses and a backyard with a swimming pool!! In Singapore its mostly apartments and condos. I really want a swimming pool in my future house or just a cozy place.

This is true in the United States too. Most people who live in very populated cities live in apartments because there is no space to build to the sides so they build up.. When you see these big houses, it's in states where property doesn't cost as much, as opposed to like California/New York. You can get an acre of land and a 2 story house in Texas for like 1/3 of teh price of a 2-room house in California.

jnm2088 absolutely true. the pricing in ca/ny is crazy compared to other states. i actually live in california, and i have a pool, and the price of my house which is pretty average for where i live, is the price of mansions in most states. i was apartment hunting and a studio apartment in LA is about the same price as a 3 bedrooms in other states.

I live in a 6,000 sq ft house with 8 acres of land, a swimming pool, five bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, an office, two living rooms, a barn, a basement, two running rooms, a huge kitchen, etc. that we got for $310k in Washington. But recently, we sold our 1200 sq ft 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house with a tiny kitchen and living room on 1/4 of an acre in California for $320k. Crazy!

My mum changes things in the house during seasons too and it is not expensive as many here in comment section implies. It is your laziness to come up with something easy. For example in autumn you need to put out your more colourful blankets over sofas, take some flowers make them dry and colour them, you can have them in vases in all rooms and this little lights, patterns and trinkets aren´t so costly. I am student, so I care about my money and still I don´t find it so expensive. You have beautiful home, enjoy it!

Some states are definitely cheaper than others! Where I live now it's $550 per month just for a studio apartment :( but in southern states it's like $400 a month for a two story apartment. And then there are places like new york city where it's over $1000/month for a one bedroom!

laurenxtineb wow! yeah here in the netherlands its quite expensive as well. In my city you pay like 500 euros for just one room for students, how are students supposed to pay that much? xD but if you go to rotterdam you pay like 600 for a house with 4 rooms or something, but then you also get a shitty house :p

Actually, I'm staying in an apartment at the moment and I live in the south and it's $1000/month for 1 bedroom apartment so really it depends. Really, the basis is if you are in a place with a bigger population, living is more expensive.
