Watching your videos is very calming for me. I am really enjoying them and so glad I found your channel. As a only a second generation American since all my grandparents immigrated from Eastern Europe, I can't imagine what it is like to have a homestead where six generations of my family lived. What heirlooms do I have? There is the hand made eyelet slip with stitching that looks like it was machine made but it was all done by hand. A fragment of fine crocheted lace my grandmother made for a covering on my mother's baby carriage I cherish. Then there is the over 100 year old choir book with Romanian words typed and carefully pasted on top of the English lyrics of some of the anthems sung by our amazing Romanian choir before I was born. But aside from those things I have nothing I can hold. My love of singing and classical music deep in my heart I suppose is a sort of heirloom. But that is it.

It is a $200 Facebook marketplace find. I wish I knew where it came from…I’m guessing an old IKEA style? There are no tags or anything. I love the deep seating and the fact that it’s slipcovered and can be washed. I love the style of it for our home too and for $200…its most definitely my best FB marketplace find yet! 🙃

Thank you! This dress is from Kohls. It’s the Sonoma brand. They have a similar style with different patterns almost every season. Hope that helps! Also, nursing isn’t really a profession you ever retire from, or so I hear, once a nurse…always a nurse. You just don’t get paid for all the care you give to others anymore. I’m happy to have you following along! 🥰

@@widowswatch6610 I use a mix I find locally. I linked a similar mix in the description box but I don’t add anything to that mix except water. But…I don’t know why I never thought of adding cinnamon! That would be delicious! We usually have them savory thought with sausage gravy. 🙃
