The house is not unnecessarily big, you and the puppies will grow into it, they’ll appreciate having space to wander around. Love the puppy feed room, my yard feed room is tidied more often than the kitchen and is one of my happy places.

One thing I learned when I moved here is to be very careful with ponds and lakes ! The blue green algae is almost all summer long so just keep an eye on that for the sake of the dogs ❤ my GSD loves the ocean, lakes and ponds too haha

Do you find the blue green algae an issue if it’s not visible? I see it sometimes covering the pond in the AM but because it’s a flowing river on both ends it usually moves out during the day completely! Thanks for thinking of the puppies. ❤️

@@TashaLeelyn I’m not sure to be honest. I’m from Barrie ON so I’m still learning these things. We stay on the safe side and let our GSD swim in the ocean in the summer and then spring and fall he has lake and pond access. Your vet might have some more info. ALSO there’s a vaccine for dogs who play in ponds and water. I think it’s called lepto? Just incase they ingest water with wild animal feces.
