Then they had an own kingdom for 700 years, then they were occupied by other countries, but still kept a culture and negotiated with their occupiers... Do you know when the Palestinians are mentioned the first time (as a group of people) in history? 1890! * So historically it´s quite vague to claim the land belongs to the Palestinians. 2) When the UN made a bad proposal for Israel/Palestine 1947 to divide the country, it was ISRAEL who accepted the "bad" deal... the Palestinians didn´t. A war started. When the Arabs and Palestinians were beaten, they started to claim back the deal that THEY HAD REFUSED. 3) While Israel has made bad decisions and treated some Palestinians badly, it doesn´t make up for the claim to be able to perform massacres, terrorism or have an agenda of genocide towards the Israelites. 4) While the Israeli response may be an exaggeration of what is needed, Israel is not (contrary to what you claim) aiming for a genocide.

Israel attacks and kills journalists reporting on Gaza Israel attacks and kills medical and food aid workers working in Gaza. These are a lot of prongs of a genocidal strategy to eliminate much of the population of Gaza (far beyond "Hamas") and we haven't even yet touched on the bombing campaigns so widespread most of the housing and industry in Gaza is rubble with innocent people buried underneath.
