For some reason I never considered installing the windows from the inside. Looks great, neat and tidy. This idea is perfect for my project as I want to install windows in my cargo truck and the width is already 8' 6". I like your bus too.

Hi there! We are currently building out our skoolie & are interested in using tempered glass residential windows. If you could do it again, would you use residential windows or would you go with RV? I love the way your skoolie turned out... the windows elevate your interior so much!

New subscriber! You popped up on my feed. The fact you are putting actual windows in and not the bus ones back in you got me as a subscriber

Knapp Time and in my eyes it's ticking all the boxes of my kinda builds, I guess the realistic thing is that funds drive a direction one way or another. I like it .

Lookin' good guys. Are your windows tempered glass? You are going to have such great views, both driving and sitting still. Watch the moose in Teton National Park and the flowers in Colorado. WOW! Margaret

Yes - we have tempered glass in our house windows. I love the big windows in the front of the bus.

Butyl tape would have been good to put between the window flange and the bus metal to seal out the water from the outside.

Was curious about how you finished off the out side of fin window in regards to sealant on mounting side of fin and weep hole drainage of slider windows.

Hey Knapp time, was wondering how your house windows are holding up after traveling around the country? My wife and I are building our schoolie now and we’re going to put in residential windows as well. Really enjoy your videos thanks for all the info
@KnappTime3 жыл бұрын
We love them. Our house windows are working great so far but please remember we ordered them special with tempered glass for safety reasons. 😀
@rickjardine4753 жыл бұрын

Hi! Were you worried about these shattering from the bus shaking/vibrating while driving?
@MrKlontzbryan5 жыл бұрын
how are you keeping the windows from leaking? wondering about doing house windows in my bus
@KnappTime5 жыл бұрын
Really too hard to explain but keep watching. We have a video coming up on how we are sealing them on the outside with silicone caulk.

Nice! What brand and model of window are you using?
@KnappTime5 жыл бұрын
We used Jeldwen windows from Home Depot. But we had to special order them. This is all new to us too.

@@KnappTime what did the cost end up being per window to get tempered glass in each?
