Wonderful! A proper tutorial without the distraction of choppy editing or a soundtrack... I feel like it is okay again to be an adult with an attention span. Philippa is so elegant and lovely and what a gorgeous wreath she made indeed!

"An adult with an attention span." Very well said. Not every single thing on the internet needs to be gimmicky to get viewers' attention. Plain and simple can be so refreshing.

This tutorial for anyone who is attempting wreath making either for the very first time or returning after many years is ideal. Most informative and delivered in a very relaxing way. Philippa has a wonderful voice I played it twice. I look to more content from her in professional non pretentious way that simply shows being classy is far more effective than in your face over the top antics of many video bloggers of today, Thank you House & Gardens and a big thank you to Philippa. Merry Christmas.

Thank you for sharing, I’ve been decorating my house with fresh greenery from my woods for many years. I don’t spend money on wreaths or garlands anymore. There’s nothing like walking in the forest and getting fresh branches of different types of pine trees. I also add branches of lavender, holly berry, lambs ear, Rosmary. My house smell amazing and ready to celebrate Christmas by December 1. Your wreath turned out beautiful! 🌲 Merry Christmas 🎄

I live in a small mountain town with very little to offer in the way of supplies or greenery such as this, but I did go foraging in the forest and get some cedar, pine, spruce and fir. I made the bases out of twisted dogwood which is a lovely red shade. How I’d love to have such a wonderful work space and abundance such as this. It’s so beautiful to see. Thank you for sharing your tips.

Lovely tutorial - I now have the important tips on how to improve my annual wreath construction - I used to wire each swatch of greenery and then secure it to the frame - your technique creates better continuity and flow. The downside of wreath construction is that large swathes of nature areas will be denuded. I indulged in judicious pruning: and often used bay tree sprigs and lavender for a fragrant wreath which even as it dried out it still held its form. Two comments about presentation: it is worth taking the time to arrange your hair and gently slide on an alice band (faux tortoiseshell compliments a brunette) to secure those wanton strands of hair and reduce the need to rake ones fingers through them which only increases the dishevelled (quite distracting) unkempt look (no malice intended). Coax your hair & makeup team to experiment to give your beautiful hair more fullness, body and movement to create a balanced look and thus free your hands for the important task. PS. my on-camera continuity eye can be a blessing or a hindrance. My intention is to offer constructive comment to always enhance the presenter's overall look.

Thank you💕😊You inspired me. I usually decorate a plain wreath I buy at my local farm stand. I have also made one from greens on my land once for an advent wreath I don’t have a hazel wood where I am I usually use a metal ring from last years wreathes. I have American bittersweet on my property so I usually just use that as a base making sure there are no berries in it because it’s a very intrusive variety but it’s abundant where I am.
