My happiest days have been on the lake in a houseboat! OMG, the fun, the beauty, the marina friends. This is amazing, too big for me. I don’t like 14 people THAT MUCH, to weekend with them. But it is one heck of a party boat. I’d hire a captain and two cooks. That would mean you could host 10 comfortably and enjoy the company, not kill yourself! Easy Peasy lake meals! This resembles a big yacht. The size of the one I was on in Greece. 96 Feet?? Yup, yacht size!!! Hands down, I have NEVER seen anything like this houseboat! Ever!!! 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😏

Is there a limit on the size of a houseboat that can be transported to California. It seems all the nicest and most advanced houseboats are in Tennessee, but I’m not moving to Tennessee. I’d like to have one transported to California Lake Shasta preferably and I wonder if you have any idea what the cost would be and what the limitations are.

I’ve moved 3-4 to Shasta over the past 23 years. They used to limit the size on the lake to 75’ I’d check with the marina, we can move anything down the road

I appreciate your response. I am planning on retiring on a lake as the house prices in California are ridiculous and this seems to be the best bang for my buck as well as the leisure and just the comfort of living on the water.
