Any suggestions on what to do if the sprayer head falls off and the hose retracts into the faucet body? It won't pull out through the bottom. Thanks!

Hopefully it is not jammed in there. Push from the bottom while twisting it, you'll eventually get it out. On mine I can pull the arm off of the fixture with firm upward pressure.

Try needle nose pliers, it can't be that far in there. Or try pushing it from the bottom. Don't try to force it. Push gently, if it doesn't go, twist it a bit and try again. Use some bad words and keep trying.

I moved into a house and I need to remove the hose. The previous hose is so frayed I can easily take it out but when I attempt to put the new hose in there’s a long bronze tube that it went through and the end of the hose can’t go through it. Can I remove the head? Or do I need to remove the bronze rod?

If you have the correct hose it will go through. You may have to remove the fitting.

My hose isn't like that. Where it attaches to the sprayer. It has a large socket looking attachment that fits loosely on a male end of the hose. That "socket" screws into the spray head. Do I need a new hose? Water will not spray properly

Try submerging the sprayer in white vinegar overnight. You may have calcium buildup.

So, I made a huge mistake. When I tried to put the hose back, I did not watch the video again, and I slid the hose up, from under the counter, and not down. When I realized my mistake, since the hose would not thread into the nozzle, i.e. I slid the wrong end of the hose up. When I tried to slide the hose down, this time the right end, it just got stuck and would not slide completely through. Did my first mistake cause the hose to get stuck? If so, how do I rectify it? Do I need to open up the faucet? I really do not want to do that. This is so frustrating because I never even asked for this faucet. The building purchased them for us, and I am stuck repairing it myself. Any advice you can provide would be helpful.
@HouseDoctorRay Жыл бұрын
Just keep going back and forth twisting the hose slightly each time it should eventually get past the stuck point. If you can push it all the way out the top try wrapping electrical tape around the lip between the hose and fitting. Just make sure the tape is tight and won't come loose inside.
@ihuang0922 Жыл бұрын
@@HouseDoctorRay thanks. I will try that. Just for your quick reply, I am subscribing to your channel.
@ihuang0922 Жыл бұрын
@House Doctor Ray Out of curiosity, what does the electrical tape do? It seems like there is something blocking the tube because when I push the hose up, I can hear it bumping into something. I did it without the electrical tape. I tried your method of slowly twisting it, and it worked. Thanks.
@HouseDoctorRay Жыл бұрын
Awesome! Thank you.

Electrical tape is thin and slippery. It might've helped get the lip that was getting caught slide over whatever was catching it. Glad you got it out.

My sprayer came off in the hose fell down in the cabinet. Is there something inside the faucet cause my hose keep hitting something as I feed it through
@HouseDoctorRay3 жыл бұрын
There are little lips where the pieces of the faucet neck screw together. If the hose comes all the way out the bottom disconnect it and feed it through from the sink side. If it won't come out the bottom you'll just have to keep trying from the bottom to get it out. Keep backing it up and twisting slightly to try and get it out. Good luck!

On most of them you can unscrew the round aerator in the center (it's about the size of a quarter). Take that to the hardware store and get and adapter to attach a garden hose.

You could try a lubricant. If you don't have food safe grease try putting a little dish soap. When you push it on you should hear a little click. The sound let's you know you pushed it on far enough. If it's defective call Moen; they'll likely send a new one for free.

Hello, I have an Price Pfister pull down faucet. The hose was leaking so I tried to remove it and replace. It was hard to remove the hose underneath the sink at the connection as it was not a quick release but more of a snap in type of connector. I must have broke something getting it off finally. When i put the new hose in the white connector at the end of the spray hose would not click or snap in underneath the sink so it pops off. Any ideas on how to repair without replacing the entire faucet?
