I know this video is a year old and I'm so grateful for it! My kitchen faucet sprang a leak on Sunday. Couldn't call Moen until Monday since they work Mon-Fri. I got my replacement hose today by Fedex and I'm so annoyed by not being able to use my kitchen sink I didn't have the patience to wait for my husband to get home to do it. So I went into KZbin found this video and I replaced the hose and O rings!!!!! Yay Me!!! Thank You SOOOOO Much!

Thank you so much! My Moen faucet was clogged up and I had no idea how to check the wand filter. I didn't think the hose could be removed from the wand but your video was a faucet saver! I replaced the cartridge and cleaned the aspirator filter to no avail. The only thing left was the wand filter which, after seeing your video, I simply unscrewed and found a ton of bad looking Gunk and Junk in there. Removed all of that and bingo, the faucet runs at full strength again! Thanks!!!

I have a KOHLER assembly that is much harder to install. It has a plastic collet that is a bear to work with. The collet clip broke on my assembly, which sprayed water all underneath the sink. Neither Home Depot or Lowes had the collet quick disconnect clip assembly, so I had to order from Amazon. The clip was $1.96, but shipping was $10.00... go figure!!! The replacement fixture is over $300.00. If this repair doesn't fix it, then NO MORE KOHLER. Time for an American-Standard or other brand.

I had this exact leak about 30 minutes ago! This video was a great inspiration. Luckily, I was able to take apart the hose and saw that the plastic hose inside the metal body was not sealing to the faucet head. If you take apart the connector you should find a nipple like piece that seals the plastic hose. You need to push the plastic end all the way to the middle of that piece and then wedge it into the connector. Then you can just screw it on to the faucet head and Voila! It beats buying a new hose if you can get it to work. *However, the leak in this video made it necessary to replace the hose because it doesn’t appear you can take the apart the end of the hose that connects to the faucet head. Thank you so much!

Thanks for this. Wanted to find a video detailing the quick connect & etc under the sink, this shows it perfectly. The hose I'm replacing failed at the crimped-on connector at the spray head fitting. I've had several similar hoses (clothes washer supply hoses) fail in exactly the same way, at the crimp. I'd be willing to bet a tidy sum that most of these hoses needing replacement (regardless of manufacturer) are the result of these crimped-on connectors being defective, just takes a yew years to show up. Armored air hoses similar to these last decades unless somebody drives a nail through it.

GREAT vid. I had this very problem. Got the parts in and made quick work of it after having watched this. Not sure I would have figured out the quick connect right away. But took only about 5 min to swap. KUDOS

Moen's lifetime warranty is ONLY for the original owner. This video was very clear and made the hose-replacement job easy for me.

Didn't know about the 'original owner' part. Looks like Moen isn't as amazing as I thought. However, glad my vid helped you out, Mark!

@@PhilCrockett I didn't just tell the service rep on the phone that I had bought the faucet from Home Depot. Had I, I would have gotten a free hose replacement. I answered their questions honestly and said I had bought the house with the Moen faucet already in it. NO free replacement for me, unfortunately. But the replacement hose and new filter cost me only about $30.
