Thank you so much for this update. I have been concerned about the soldiers and the horses, especially Vida, who seemed badly injured and bleeding so badly. Im glad that that he has made it through the operation and is closely monitored. I have been hoping he was still with us. I am relieved that everyone involved seems to be recovering well. It was Quaker who was the worst at the beginning. It just shows how much love these amazing animals get from the Guards and veterinary staff❤❤❤

@@user-ho4ie4rs9b Thx for that info. Yes, they are loved and so well taken care of. Vida looked worse because of all the blood, I suppose. I'm glad Quaker is recovering well. I'm sure Vida will too.

I just wanted to say one more thing…. Your commentary is a huge part of why I love your channel. I truly watch your channel all the time since I found it. One other sidenote… my heritage is British, Scottish and Irish. And my bucket list consists of one thing and that is to visit and learn more about my heritage. I said all that to say this when I listen to your commentary, I do learn a lot. And it leads me to go and do more research online where I learn more. It’s not like being there of course. However, I rescue Dachshunds so traveling especially distances like that is not feasible for me right now. I will never be able to thank you enough for sharing this update. I was naturally concerned about the troupers but seeing Vida fleeing for his life, covered in blood has stayed with me since the incident occurred. Then being updated that Quaker was more or less 'in the very worst of conditions' I have not been able to get this incident out of my mind. Men sign up knowing the chances of injury come with the job, but the horses are not given a choice. And yet they perform their 'duties' to perfection ❤ as do all animals when seconded for whatever reason by 'man'. I can now rest easy thanks to the update regarding Quaker and Vida, bless you and all the vets who saved these beautiful animals' lives 😢❤‍🩹❤

Thank you for keeping us informed. We who watch all the House Hold Calvary videos appreciate these respectful Troopers and their beautiful horses. Who are also well cared for troopers. It was a most unfortunate accident for all involved. Freak accidents do happen… some are man made by careless people on construction sights. Hopefully, with all due respect for construction sight workers lessons at a painful cost were learned never to be repeated. Better rules for surroundings safety should be in place
