I believe this was the game where Suns were up 7 with a little over 5 minutes left and Giannis got a steal off an inbound pass and made it a 5pt game and gave us the momentum. If Suns got the pass off and hit a shot to go up 9-10 instead of only being up 5 they maybe leave game 4 up 3-1 and history is maybe changed. Then ofc the block on Ayton, and then very next possession a steal on CP3 which led to a 2 possession lead was the chefs kiss. Those type of plays are exactly why Giannis has been the best player in the NBA the last 2 years. He's a dominant scorer, and has been a top 3-5 scorer the past 4 seasons, no one hustles for offensive rebounds like him and creates points where there shouldn't be any, he's a terrific passer who's averaged 6APG in the regular season last 4 years, and averages 7.3APG in the last 2 playoff runs, and of course the defense. He can be an elite rim protector, he can play defense on the perimeter against anyone, and he just has absurd basketball instinct. There was literally a 0.5 second window to pass the ball to Khris so he can take the icing FTs instead of himself and he got the pass off under all that pressure. The scariest part is he finally has a reliable mid range game too. 2022-2023 Giannis is about to be way better than he already was

@@interceptingfist5682 I've got some "facts" for you! In game 1 the Suns shot more Free Throws than the Bucks. In fact, the Free throw totals were 23 to 6 in favor of the Suns late in game 1. The refs, like I knew they would, called a few meaningless Free Throws for the Bucks late after the game was out of reach. Still the Suns ended up with more total Free Throws in Game 1 "FACT"!!!!!. However, focusing on "the number of free throws each team gets" as a measure of how fairly the game has been called is a mistake. I could go into all the reasons why one team might have more fouls called for it than another, but in this case I don't have to! In this case it's so blatantly obvious why the Bucks would get more fouls called than the Suns. I think the Suns have to flop because they never get the fouls called their way. Many fouls not called in this game when Bucks players fouled the Suns. Did you see Cam Payne going up for a layup in the 4th and Giannis and another Bucks player literally crushed Payne between the two of them and Payne missed the shot? NO CALL! Yet Ayton's body barely touches Giannis' while Giannis is going for a layup and it's an immediate foul call. I wish the refs would call a fair game, but they always have to be against a team. It's been that way the last 2 games against the Suns.

@@EliC09 Yes, I saw that. Booker should've fouled out. But there were so many missed calls minutes before that occurred. Booker might not have needed to do that if the other fouls (that were missed by the refs) had been called in the minutes leading up to that point. The refs were dreadful. I've been watching the NBA since I was a kid in the '70s and it truly is embarrasing what is called and what isn't called now. It's all about the money for the players and the league.

The refs should keep this same energy home and away. Loved the physicality! The Bucks had a little luck and talk about that block from Giannis! Yet some media analyst people say he isn't clutch. At least he's consistent.. smh. I said it before and I'll say it again; If either Jrue or Middleton comes up big time in the remaining games the Bucks are stealing this Trophy.... And in 6!
@joshkutz9823 жыл бұрын
Giannis isn’t the most clutch offensive player, mainly because he isn’t a great jump shooter, but he is still clutch. When you watch clutch baskets, they are usually jumpers or 3s, which is why Middleton takes the clutch shots for the Bucks. Doesn’t mean Giannis isn’t clutch, though. Giannis plays great defense on clutch moments all the time (his block tonight, knocking the ball away from Jimmy Butler in Game 1 against the Heat, etc.) He just doesn’t get credit for it because it isn’t on offense.

Exactly. I’ve lost all my respect for the Suns. They get plenty of help from the refs anyways, but still complain. Do other teams complain, yes. But to the extent that the Suns do, no. Hope they are never successful till Booker leaves.

I thought it was a really poor idea to not call a time out when CP ran the ball up the floor and slipped with 40s on the clock. You got two time outs with 40 remaining. Would have been a great time to reset and draw up a good play given that momentum swing

@bobl7033 жыл бұрын
Yet again, horrible officiating. Crowder got smacked in the face by the Big Guy, but it was only called a simple foul. Really???? The announcers said he was "going for the ball", but when they showed the reply, his hand was nowhere near the ball (which was 2 feet away from his face). And that jump ball that they said went off of a Phx player out of bounds... when they showed the replay, it obviously went off of the Bucks player. The refs were horrible as usual. That one that should've been on Booker with 2 or so minutes left to play should've been called (it was obvious) but they didn't call it for some odd reason. I have no respect for the NBA and their refs.

@@tarifasmanos All players flop, on all teams. Pisses me off so much. Giannis fouls Ayton so much, but they never call it. But when Ayton's body touches Giannis' body in the air, the refs are sure to call it. So sometimes players flop to get the refs attention for the next time.

GIANNIS WITH THE HUGE BLOCK
@bobl7033 жыл бұрын
The block was easy because the pass was bad (ball was behind the rim), so Ayton had a difficult dunk attempt and that gave Giannis a higher probability of a block.

There were bad calls or lack there of on both sides but the refs not giving booker his 6th foul twice was straight BS and could’ve legitimately altered the game.
