KDs just soft and the media weren't afraid to say it. Was afraid he would just be another Patrick Ewing so he joined essentially the best team in NBA history. Weakest move all time in any sport no discussion
@xolisawulana31124 жыл бұрын
john doe you are wrong. Say in American sports. Because in soccer stacking up a team is normal. Look at Real Madrid and Barcelona for the last decade or so. They been successful because they been purchasing all the best players. I don’t think it is was weak because he went to supposedly best team in NBA history as you say and immediately became the best player 🤷🏽♂️ almost led them to a three peat had it not been for his injury. Now he is gone, GSW is no longer the same and will probably won’t be the same with even Klay back next season too because the west is even more competitive now 🤷🏽♂️
@anthonym69184 жыл бұрын
Xolisa Wulana how'd you not think it's weak for the 2nd best player in the world to go to a 73-9 warriors team directly after he gave up a 3-1 lead in the WCF. The team already had 3 all stars and a finals mvp. Essentially making them a Five headed beast when no one in the NBA had nearly as much talent. This move destroyed the sport for at least two years straight no discussion. He made it where their was almost nothibg to play for considering franchises play towards the championship which is completely out of reach for all other 31 teams. Thank God the east finally created some power houses in KDs last year because it would have been a waste to another entire NBA season without the likes of Toronto and Milwaukee.
@anthonym69184 жыл бұрын
Xolisa Wulana and also the soccer comparison is a terrible one it's not the same thing at all. There are like 10 to 15 super clubs that make names for themselves by having simply complete rosters at all times. Its never truly unbalanced, anyone of those teams could win the champions league at any point and no one would be surprised. It's not like messi and Ronaldo would ever team up and just dominate the planet and leave no chance for anyone. Everyone who is truly great knows too create their own legacy and be the face of their own franchises. Everyone except KD... The guy makes burner accounts and everything he's legitimately pathetic for someone of that caliber of talent

@exiledlegends5 жыл бұрын
He was fine offensively for lobs and such, but he was terrible on setting screens and on defense PnR and fell asleep quite often. Also a foul machine - almost fouled out in summer league where you get like 10 fouls. At least Spellman can spread the floor, let's hope he loses a ton of weight
@rygesa5 жыл бұрын
At least he always showed up and didnt have motivation issues. No late 1st rounder is gonna be great in the first few years but he showed flashes and was having a solid year till his injury which is saying a lot considering how bad he looked rookie year. And he improved without seeing many mins, a promising sign. DJ could be a starting caliber Center. Doubt the same is true with Spellman at any position.
@rygesa5 жыл бұрын
Whats the point of that comment? Start off by insulting me for no reason at all and then dont even back it up. "he's dumb AF" isnt exactly insightful analysis that makes me seem moronic. I will never forget the day Boogie signed with the Warriors. Obviously it didn’t lead to what any expected but the idea of having a literal All NBA team as your lineup was one of the greatest things ever. Don’t even know if you could replicate this in 2k, that was how wild it was 😭
@coinraker6497 Жыл бұрын
I'll never forget it either, the way people bitched and moaned about it. As if Boogie was instantly back in all-star form and not still recovering from a ruptured achilles tendon. Probably if he went to any other team people would have thought rationally about it but because it was the Warriors there was hysteria. 🤣
