The guy on the stool next to me was glued to the game, chuckling and shaking his head at some of the things LeBron was doing. After a while, we started talking, and he pointed out how LeBron was positioning himself on the court like a 10-year veteran. How he had the vision to make passes that set up the next pass. How he was funneling people on defense to the right spots. Turns out, the guy was an assistant basketball coach at a D1 school in California. Unlike me, he KNEW the game. And he knew what he was seeing was transcendent. At that point, I realized that maybe, for once, all the hype was deserved. Best flight delay I've ever had.

@A M Fair, but for me Lebron's leading BOTH teams in points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks in the 2016 NBA Finals puts him in his OWN category of being untouchable--nevermind the fact that it was while leading a 3-1 comeback to beat the team with the best record ever.
@RodgersXLVmvp4 жыл бұрын
I disagree. Jordan had no flaw to his game and was definitly an all around more complete player than Bron , to begin with, Jordan played much better defense. Bron can chase you down from behind and volleyball spike your shot into another galaxy , but he could never be expected to lockdown the opposing teams top superstar one on one like Jordan was. And on offense , Jordan was absolutely the better all around scorer , Bron probably better at setting up assists, but MJ could score from anywhere on the court, anyway he needed to, all depending on what you gave him. Lebron is versitile, but he def favors the same 2 or 3 moves in crunchtime when he has to get a score, and it makes it easier to predict and stop. Jordan on the other hand, with the game on the line , he would literally do the thing you'd least expect him to do , in order to win. Now I appreciate both, Lebron is a freak of nature , no one his size should be able to move the way he does , add in the fact that weve never seen a guy as big as Bron be able to shoot as effeciently as him, but I could easily identify parts of Brons game that could be improved on. Jordan was perfect. There was absolutely ZERO weakness to MJ's game. Bron is chasing a ghost. I would compare him to Bird , Magic , Oscar, etc. , hes a legend, should be in everyones top 5,, but Jordan is in a league of his own, and will forever remain there. The only one weve ever even seen get halfway close to MJ , was Kobe , and MJ was still miles above him. Lebron vs Jordan is oranges to apples anyways , but I cant sit back and let anyone try to say Bron is "better all-around" than MJ, cause that is simply not true. Lebron possess more athleticism, but fundamentally , pure basketball skill in its truest art form , MJ was flawless.

Grew up on young LeBron dominating the league and carrying the Cavs to the finals as a 22 year old, one of the greatest runs ever by one of the greatest players ever. Gonna be sad the day he retires, he’s done nothing but benefit this league every way possible and has been in the convo for best player in the league ever since his 3rd season or so. Salute to a top 3 greatest player ever and here’s to hopes you win one more with LA 👍🏼 you deserve it King James, just a kid from Akron!
