Dancing lady (Oncidium) orchids are one of the most beautiful orchid variety that we have here in Kerala. It has less maintenance and has good resistance to diseases. It blooms almost every time and has bunches of flowers around the year.
For Dancing girls orchids, repotting is very important as these orchids grow very fast and get crowded in the pot, which prevents further growth and flowering. Also, Here in this video, I am showing how you can divide these orchids and propagate very easily. I had an opportunity to get more than ten saplings from this mother plant. Enjoy the video!!!

@@houseoforchids I had one query. In your Dendrobium care video you said we can alternately apply npk and high potassium fertilizer in alternate weeks. Can I use plain potash diluted in water. I use it in my potted flowering plants like hibiscus,so was wondering if like npk,I can use potash too?

@@WhimsyCrafter It's better to use the fertilizer that is fine-tuned specifically for orchid because it will be more of a balanced diet :) Also, orchids need phosphorous along with potassium.
