I just want to tell you that I love your content! You are my favorite to follow to inspire me and for me to learn about interiors. I have always been a fan of black, white, etc., but it wasn’t until I came across you that I even realized that I could choose to actually use a lot of black to decorate my home. Seeing what you’ve done and do has given me the courage to go with my heart and decorate my home in a way that feels truly authentic to me. I had this unfinished wooden small cabinet with glass upper doors and I decided to paint it black. When my mother saw it, she questioned my choice and asked, “ why did you paint it black?” I answered, “ because I wanted to.” End of story. Side note: And I’m sixty years old. I’d say it was about time I went with my heart. I now ascribe to a neutral color palette with lots of warm earthy browns, real wood, black & white ( of course ), and green, also use clear glass, gold, & silver. Thank you, Valentina for opening up this world of possibilities for people like me! You are the best! Your style is beyond beautiful, and your work is appreciated!

Love these colours so much! As for the type of home I live in, it's an early 1980s loft style apartment with pitched ceilings and massive skylights. It was renovated in 2018 so you can imagine what I'm working with - the budget isn't there to redo a lot of it right now but I've brought back the warmth in a lot of ways, including using these mocha browns.

Really enjoy your videos, bought a new house and have a aspen log bed. Painted bedroom morning coffee with two horizontal 1” stripes around room in ivory to mimic log walls, also long off white velvet drapes. Turned out gorgeous. Have white bedding with embroidered mocha branches and leaves.

My house is black, dark brown, and white to work with the oak cabinets and floors. We also have some gray stone on the fireplace and gray tile floors, but some of the example photos of the mocha mousse and black remind me of my home! We bought in 2021 and have been updating nonstop. Your channel has helped me make a lot of decisions along the way!

Reminds me of the color our living room was when we bought our house in 2011. I call this a pink brown color. On the wall it reminds me of the pink mold that tends to grow in my shower when I’ve put off cleaning it !!! This color is fine for my skin tone for clothing but not for my house. My hubby just finished painting our interior Accessible Beige from SW.

Wonderful video as always! I've already started incorporating some of these yummy colors in my home. Neutral home with pops of these warmer colors. A bit challenging as I live in Tucson, AZ in a 1970s style house and community. Palm trees and cactus! Love them too. (Renting right now, so I have to be careful with wall painting. )

I'm not a fan of the pink undertones, but yes please to saturated taupes and earthy brown. My living room is painted in Behr Brown Teepee, it's a great warm neutral that pairs well with anything I put in the room for textiles and decor.

I really love Swiss Coffee! Just about every paint manufacturer knows what this color is and has a recipe on hand to make it. It has been especially nice for the older houses I’ve lived in that look sort of “unfinished“ in a bright white “Chantilly lace”. The warmth goes well with wood furniture and flooring and is still light and airy. It feels soft focus to me. Worked very well in craftsman style houses. Our current house is a 90’s single story house out in the boonies with a courtyard entry. It’s a beautiful peach brick. It has an awkward kitchen layout and was painted in very dark shiny slimy brown that was not… great. Roach brown ? Almond trim. Peach brickwork. Yellow oak cabinets. Popcorn ceilings with huge faux Victorian style ceiling fans. There are things I would love to change but we are just changing small and superficial things for the moment.

I personally would caution to be careful of pinkish undertones especially in anchor points, they are difficult to combine depending on your lighting.
