Yes! Ross' creations are absolutely worthy of a video! His lil monsters and skulls are so cool! I'd absolutely purchase that little skull if it was available! 💀🌿 You are so fun to follow! You're just so down to earth and the way you handle a sad or defeated feeling in any moment is just uplifting and inspiring. Thanks, Claire 💚

Tips on your ferox. On the back of the leaf, make some cuts across the veins? I can't think of the word? Then place it on top of spagnum moss and tiny babies grow from the cuts. I haven't done this but there are utube videos on it. Specially the Mullanobulata.

Hi Claire❤ RE: Anth vittarifolium - just in case you’re not aware, usually the first few inflo’s are not mature enough to be successfully pollinated. So don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t work the first few times💕

Thank you for ALWAYS being so authentic. Its nice to see that as a new plant parent, its ok to see plants on the yellow or crispy side, and saying its ok to not like a plant and part ways. I feel so guilty when I dont want a certain plant because it doesn't meet my expectations. Im new to detecting pests and would like to know more about how certain pests damage your plants specifically so I know how to treat. Spraying, treating, cutting back, anything else you have had success with. Thank you Claire. Love your videos so much!

I have propagated begonia Ferox a lot now. I always cut the leaf and stick in a perlite/moss prop box and it’s never failed me yet! When I saw you put the stem in water I also decided to experiment this way and the stem just sort of fell apart. The other way to do it is by rhizome cutting which is probably the quickest of all but I don’t think you have that option. Good luck! I’m sure it will do fine :) one of my favourite plants in my collection so happy to see you have it now too :)

I've heard anthurium vittariifolium self pollinates very easily but not aware of any crosses that have been made. NSE tropicals crossed wendlingeri with scherzerianum which is really cool. And ecuagenera did pallidiflorum x warocqueanum.

I'd love to see more of Ross's plant pots. The skull one you showed is something I'd be drawn to. In regards to the silver band it's possibly getting to much light, I've noticed with all my marantas that they really do prefer mid to lower light conditions. Sometimes I wonder how they grow so well, but they do actually grow along the jungle floor in the wild which can be really low light. Also I agree about the cast iron I'd buy a new one as well 😁🌿💚

I’ve never had spider mites again since I started sprinkling diatomaceous earth on top of the potting mix. I started doing that about a year ago & I’ve been pest free since then 👍 That is so sad about your original monkeys tail 😢 I just had to have one after seeing your video with that one in it. Mine is still small but happily growing away on my kitchen window sill 🥰

sterlitzias so beautiful modern interior plants, but i hate when starting all leafs down, even my window is so sunny from south side, it was soooo beautiful big and straight up leaves, now just down, i knew it its gonna happen like this, its like kentia palm buying big long leaves, touching ceilings but after couple years all leaves its not long at all and going down and kentia probably the slowest palm grower , maybe one leave a year. at least strelitzia soooo fast grower, 3-4 leaves a year, but really hate it when leaves going down

I’ve had so much success cutting begonias into pieces and prop boxing it with moss. ❤ I also find that maranta don’t size up very quickly. I had to cut mine all the way back to dirt and it’s grown back the same way that yours looks. I don’t think it will size up until it’s gotten much bigger. I also find that epiphyllums root sooo easily!! I’ve only tried in water so far!

I just want to thank you for this lovely channel. You have taught me to slow down and enjoy the process of taking care of my plants. I grew up in the restaurant business, and because of this, everything I do, I rush through as if it is a race, with maximum efficiency being the goal. It's funny when I think back to not-to-long-ago, moving plants to larger pots, I rushed as if I was in the emergency room, and was so afraid the plant would die if I didn't get it into the new pot IMMEDIATELY. I now have so much more joy and peace in the process, by watching you. THANK YOU - Pam from Nashville, TN
