The cactus after your "euphorbia chergona" (if I spelt that right) looks to be an Aloe Marlothii (mountain aloe). They eventually grow very large. They grow a trunk made from the wilted leaves as they die and get to be about 13 feet tall. Their blooms are beautiful as well. I'm jealous you have one. Mine died and mountain Aloes are extremely hard to come by.

I think you got a Boston fern, only reason I say that is because of the way it lays, most of the Kimberly queens don’t lay so flat they kinda stick up!

It's definitely a Boston fern. All ferns love/need to be misted to keep their leaves supple and not turn crispy. Mist them at least every week. 2 or 3 times a week is best. Keep the soil moist and do not let dry out.

After keeping begonia, I've come to learn they really do not like to dry out, be given plenty of light or they get leggy, and be as close to the humidifier as possible. Huddling them together with other plants helps keep up the ambient humidity up because the transpiration from all the leaves. Sitting them on a large pebble tray together would be good too!

As for the Monstera Adansonii, I would recommend a plastic pot (I know you're a terracotta girl but hear me out). I got a rather big adansonii very early on in my plant career and had no clue it was supposed to be a picky plant baby until very recently. I never have any problems with mine. I keep it in moderate light in a corner, water it thoroughly but only when it needs it, and he just keeps trucking. I know they can be thirsty boiiiss so maybe the terracotta is just drying out a bit faster than he likes? Good luck!

For the Alocasia black velvet, I would recommend putting him into semi-hydro. My silver dragon was suffering, so I put him into leca and he just grew out a new leaf and is growing pups. I also found 5 bulbs in the soil and put them in a glass container with leca and I now have 6 silver dragons including the mother plant. Love this video! Regarding the Alocasia Micholitziana "Frydek", it might be that the soil is drying out too fast. Check out jungleinaroom 's instagram highlights about alocasia, she shows how when she started watering her frydek more, it put out more and more leaves. I had the same issue! If the soil is not wet enough, the plant won't be able to sustain more than 2-3 leaves, that's why it drops a leaf as soon as it gets one. There could be other reasons for the leaf drop, like root rot or something, but it's most likely that your soil just dries out too fast.

that was fun! columnea and nematanthus are both called goldfish plant, but to me the nema is the one who really looks like a fish. they are gesneriads, like african violets and are SOOO easy to prop. near a light bulb my nema blooms prolifically all winter-so cheerful! also...my alocasia black velvet is doing that droopy but not flaccid thing like your alocasia...and putting out a huge new leaf at the same time. i’ve decided not to worry about it, haha!

I was thinking about it and I was actually told the columnea is a "dancing dolphin vine" - is that the same thing as goldfish? I don't know much about them. Thanks so much for watching!
