I actually wanted my little plant workshop studio to be out in the garage but then I'd have to add a heater in there as they can get quite cold in the winter. So I kind of morphed into what it is now in the basement and I'm happy it's turned out that way.

The third plant with the dry edge leaves, I also have two of them. I live in Arizona, USA very arid and I don’t use a humidifier. I had the same issue with mine until I started to water it more consistently and never letting the soil dry out. I have it in a moisture retention mix in a clay pot and not too big of a pot. It finally is looking lush and no crispy edges. Also, mine are in bright light and one is directly under a grow light

Hi Jeff, very interesting video. Can you tell me why you prefer the plastic moss pole as opposed to the chickenwire one? I would absolutely love to have my house look like yours. I’m so envious 💕
@EverythingPlants
@EverythingPlants Жыл бұрын
I prefer the plastic for two reasons. One the overall look of it. I prefer much better and the second reason is it contains the moss much better than the chicken wire ones. When I spray off the chicken wire ones or if I just dump water from the top down it will always lose little pieces of the moss and it just creates a bit of a mess.

Just wondering how hard is it to repot plants on planks? I have a Hawaiian pothos on a plank and she’s growing very well. I’m just wondering when she needs a repot how much trouble it’s going to be ? My son-in-law has a saw mill and I asked him if he would cut me some first cuts off of the lumber he was making and he cut me two. I love them because they’re unique but as of yet I only have one plant growing up one of them and I have several that are going to be needing a plank soon. It can be a little tricky if you have multiple stems, but if you have like one or two stems it's usually not a big deal. You can attach them to the plank first or you can add them to the pot and then add the supports to the plank afterwards. It's totally up to you
